I understand that certain conditions must be present to make this work, It is very logical, but it does not work, the point is, suppose I want to create a mission which will be laser marks I can not do that, I completely dependent on the "mood" of the jtac. I've sat for hours in every possible way to make missions,I can tell you for sure it completely random, there is no way to determine How the JTAC will respond to the Existing situation

Thanks for the detailed answer, still I made several attempts and seems no logic in the selection of the JTAC Infrared or laser or smoke.I keep checking the distance and line of sight to the target and yet. I would like to know If possible, if the ED GUYS can know in advance when they are preparing a MISSION that the JTAC marks targets in infrared or laser

:doh: That's IS the problem, how do you define a situation? What determines that the JTAC will mark a target with a laser OR smoke?
