  1. I think I've been trying to create a SPI (TMS UP LONG) over the red triangle with out hooking it (TMS UP SHORT) on the TAD. Hastas, what do you mean by "cycling to that". Is there an additional command or something else I need to do?
  2. "There are a few indications, I like to look in the bottom left data block in the HUD. You should see STPT, TGP, TAD respectively, letting you know what is currently designating your SPI." I am always able to create a SPI with HUD, how do you make it say TAD? Should the TAD be SOI or should the HUD be SOI when try to hook TAD red triangle? I've tried TMS down long to clear but I still can not hook it.
  3. Thanks to all, I was rushing the alignment. I don't see the switch for ground power on the power panel. How does one turn that on?
  4. I've found sometimes I am unable to arm the auto pilot with the switches under the throttle. I click the left one and it goes straight to the off position. I had once put the HUD in NAV mode I was able to switch it on, other times not. I think I might be missing something in my startup procedure or turning something on at the wrong time. Any suggestions as to what may need to be switched on or what I missed? Thanks, Jimmytime
  5. Thank you all, very helpful and informative.
  6. Just a few questions I was hoping someone could answer. Is there a way to "re-center" the HUD? At times it seems too far left, or right, mostly the pitch ladder. When zooming in on the HUD the display seems to zoom in as well and I can't see all of the components. Can this be reset or am I zooming in too far? Sometimes during a mission I'll see in the HUD near the bottom, the word NOTE blinking. How do I address that? Thanks, JT
