  1. It may just be chance that you are experiencing the bug (?) over here:

    Which seems to be affecting a few people (my self included) , where after a period of time (something near 45 mins) , you can no longer get proper ranging data from the laser, or you can get ranging return, but it doesn't seem to pass it on to the fire control computer (?) , you do not get a "C" , and if you manual overide, the Vickhr will fall well short / cannon rounds will fall well short.

     

    It seems like it could either be:

    a) a bug

    b) the modelling of some sort of system to do with the life expectancy of the laser rangefinder or fire control system.

     

    Since it's been reported in teh bugs forum, and I believe there have been a couple of tracks sent off, we can hope for an official answer soon :)

    AS you mentioned, I have similar problem now during normal fly, not after rearm, I lost ability to achieve range to target. Seems strange. Hope ED will solve this. Thanks anyway for your time and help guys, really thank you for quick response.

  2. Hello all. I tried to refuel and rearm during mission, after landing I perform shut down procedure and rearm. Than I started automatic start up procerure (LALT+Home). After that I turn on my laser and enable weapons. After all this everything looks fine. Also I was able to lock target and select vichr. But after launch vichr i was not able to hit target, all vichr missiles hit ground before target, I tried also to move designator behind target or anywhere else, but all missiles still head to one point. I switched to canoon and it worked fine and hit target. Does anybody have similar problem?

    Before rearm everything was fine and normal.

  4. I had a hold up on that mission as well. Had to refly it several times before I could complete it. Just destroy all enenemy BTR's first, then take out the Zu-23's and any bearded ones with RPG's.

     

    So Thank you for your help guys, it was like you said, first BTRs and than Zus, after that our forces try to cross the town and everything is fine :)

  5. Okay, I just went and flew this mission and I got the same result. Hit the three ZSUs (and a friendly BTR 80..oops!:doh:), the heli's did their bit but still only 50%. I shall refly with pleasure!:)

     

    Oh, now I feel better:) we are on the same boat :huh:

    Ok. Heres a translation for your attack group.

    “NEAR GUNDELEN”

     

    The rebels attacked the town of Gundelen yesterday evening, located 35 km. west of Nalchik. A number of BTRs have been captured. An Interior Forces unit has been surrounded and is under attack in the police station on the western outskirts of the town.

     

    An operation has been planned overnight to relieve the forces under attack and eliminate the rebel formations.

     

    Interior Forces reinforcements are holding position near the town. An air assault group will be inserted by helicopter on the surrounding heights.

    Frontal and army aviation is tasked with destroying enemy firing positions and vehicles.

    28 August, Flight-1 lead, 3rd OAE (callsign 251) will lead a two-ship flight to provide combat support to Interior Forces units as part of the operation to clear the town of Gundelen.

     

    A flight of Su-25 attack aircraft (callsign 185) will be tasked with destroying enemy concentrations and strongholds. A Forward Air Controller (FAC - callsign Kobalt-2) will coordinate the aviation elements from a position 2.5 km. to the northeast of the town.

     

    The primary objective will be the destruction of ZU-23 AAA installations, enemy armoured vehicles and combat support of the “Shorup-5” ground assault group mounted on BTR-80s. The “Shorup-5” assault group will move out of the town of Zayukovo after the ZU-23 installations on the eastern side of Gundelen are neutralized.

     

    Once the AAA units are neutralized, a pair of Mi-8 helicopters (callsign 822) will insert an air assault group on Hill-988, south of the town.

     

     

    Hmm everything was like you wrote but mission is still 50perc done. hmm

    MAybe I will next time try to destroy only AA and will wait.

  7. Dear all I am sure that somebody of you already finished BS campaign.

    I got small problem I have no idea how to finish 8 or 9 mission. After destroing all AA positions and our mi-8 drops there some soldiers and area is clear of enemy BRT, nothing happen. My ground forces stoped before small bridge and it looks like they are waiting for something. Also Su-25 are finished their job.

    Does anybody finished some quick walthrough through campaign? I got also small problem in first night mission but I solved it.

    In general my problem is that I do not understeand russian well. I am waiting for eng BS.

    Opitého pilota Boeingu 777 s 300 cestujúcimi na palube, pripraveného odletieť do indického Bombaja, zatkla v nedeľu britská polícia na letisku Londýn-Heathrow priamo v pilotnej kabíne.

    Na pilota, ktorý prebral na vianočnom večierku predchádzajúci večer a bol z neho cítiť alkohol, ju upozornili zamestnanci letiska. Informoval o tom dnes britský denník Sun.

     

    Uviedol, že polícia zatkla 62-ročného Michaela Harra tesne pred štartom lietadla spoločnosti Jet Airways so sídlom v Indii. Američan, bývalý príslušník vojenského námorníctva, predtým pracoval pre leteckú spoločnosť Delta Airlines.

     

    Hovorca Scotland Yardu potvrdil zadržanie pilota, ktorý zostane vo väzbe najmenej do začiatku budúceho roka.

     

    Medzi cestujúcimi lietadla, smerujúceho do Bombaja, boli aj príbuzní obetí a zranených z novembrovej masakry v tejto metropole.

  10. dear guys sometimes when I read some post from GGT I would like to have some propaganda ministry :) It will suit you my friend. I am not really expert in aviation and military fighters like you. I am workin in aviation and speaking with guys every minute if it is posible, but I am not an expert or something like that and after few years and earning some experiences I have my own point of view.

     

    Lets go to your problem guys.

    Only thing that I know is that: DURING EXCERCIECES in 2007 in close combat between mig-29 and F-16, our pilots defeated all F-16 fighters. So I dont want do discuss about AOA or whatever. But in fact mig-29 pilots in close combat using advantage of migs including "great" AOA :)

     

    I cant discuss about details during all training like BVR ex. and so and so. You know our migs are MIG-29AS and they dont have upgrated radar.

    But this is another story.
