I tried yesterday to install this mod using OvGME, but no luck. My OvGME is set to install mods to the DCS openbeta in the Saved games folder. This mod needs to go into the "tech" folder. When installing using OvGME, it just puts it in DCS openbeta folder and not into the Mods/tech folder that I created. I tried some Liveries mods as well, and it just put the mods on to the Saved games/DCS openbeta folder and not into the Liveries folder. How to direct the mod to the right folder using OvGME? I thought that you only needed to direct the mod to the Saved games/ DCS openbeta folder and then the mod should find its way into the right sub folder..

Well, i found the solution. My pagefile was set too low. I increased it to 16384 and it´s all good again. See ya in the air!

I uninstalled everything and started from scratch again. Now i have installed DCS normal version and it works. Should i install some modules now, or should i get the BETA version and then install the modules there? Not sure if it makes any difference but no harm in asking i guess. Can i upgrade the normal version to the Beta version without downloading the installer? --EDIT-- After some testing i found out that it´s nothing wrong with the installation process or the modules. It might be a hardware problem. I can run the modules on the Medium graphic presets, but when i crank it up to High it won´t load into the game. Before i could run the settings on the pic i attached, but now it crashes when i try the same settings.. Suggestions?? Computer: AMD 3700x, 16GB, Radeon 5700xt. No mods and nothing is overclocked.

Did a mem test but everything seems to be ok. I tried again to start the game today, selected the Apache, selected Caucasus and some random mission, and then off to loading. Just when it´s about to start it crashes to desktop. No crash report screen it just messes up everything so i have to restart the computer. When i made the fresh install, i installed the DCS normal version first and tried it. Then it worked. I could jump into the KA-50 and fly. After that i installed DCS Beta version to fly the Apache and then the problems started.

Hmm it just shuts down to desktop so I don't get this crash report window. This is the logs I get.. I will try more tomorrow.

Here it is. Strange thing is that i have been flying fine since the release of the Apache, but now after the reinstall, no module work.. dcs.log-20220508-213041.zip

Nope, nothing worked. It loads the game just until its ready to start and then it just shuts off and goes back to desktop..

DCS starts fine. Both normal and beta versions, but when i want to choose a module to fly in both versions, it loads for a bit then stops loading in the assets and just hangs. The installation is new and fresh, and even so i tried with a repair but with no luck. dcs.log-20220508-204324.zip

The only problem i have with the Apache is that it feel a bit top heavy. Easy to lay it on the side if you dont land on a flat surface.

Think I made a mistake. I put the two folders in the Saved games folder, and not in the open beta folder. Maybe that's why it isn't working. When reading the installation process, it's said to put the folder in the Saved games folder. Maybe I misunderstood that part.

Did. But when i open DCS and navigate to the "Special" folder, i can´t see any icon for the DCS Moving map there.

I suck at installing stuff.. I followed your guide but i can´t seem to make this work. Do you place the "Mods and Scripts folder" INSIDE the DCS.openbeta folder or where do they go?

Practise bro... Practise.

Can you only use the pre-made missions that are made for the common maps and adjust them, or can you do something else? For example, there is one mission on the Syria map, called "Aleppo Tour". Do you have to use that template so to say? And make changes to it to get variation? -
Thanks man!

Thanks man! I however don´t own the Nevada map.. Any chance to get it in the Caucasus? I´m playing the "Georgian Hammer" campaign right now, and JTAC is an option there in the radio menu. Sure, he can call out target coordinates for me (thinks it´s voiced by Wags by the way), but can i use him to lase a targets for me as well?
