I install with "vista sp2 compatability" mode and "run as admin"

Im going crazy, please help!! Been installing the drivers 10 times now, i did clean installs, emptying register and so on. Ok, heres the deal, when i have install the driver (hco 2007 vista 64 bit)and plugged the cougar in the usb, it recognize the cougar and installs it. When i look at the device manager, i can see hotas in/out, but when i try to start the hotas control panel it says "device detection error", when i restart the computer it seems that the drivers disapear from cpu and when i look at the device manager it says "unreconizable device". I dont know what to do!!! Please help! PS. im running win 7 64 bit ultimate
