  1. I vote for my baby.... the F-4G & E Phantom II  :joystick:
  2. Correct... but as a former TACP, I can say that it was certainly within our capabilities to do so, and we would train with working with the Navy for such targets off a coastline... ;-)
  3. I had a Good one... but have no idea how to record a track to upload it.... lol
  4. What I ran into after the patch is that the profile that was loaded into my HOTAS no longer works. I reloaded the profile and no go... Haven't figuered it out yet. Any ideas??
  5. Well, everywhere I have deployed over the years, has always been a beehive of activity on the ramp and base. My last deployment was the 1st Gulf war with the F-4 Wild Weasel's from George AFB, Ca.... and Shaikh Isa AB in Bahrain was a very busy place.
  6. No, the difference is not distinguished on us en-route charts... SOME SID and STARS do, but it is pretty uncommon so far. The reason I got (from an FAA inspector) as to why they are not stated as such, was that it is because they function... signal wise... the same as a standard VOR signal. So why change the symbology....
  7. :megalol: And you are doing quite well!!!
  8. I got to FULLY agree!!! :notworthy:
  9. Sorry I took so long to respond Cali... went on a badly needed vacation!!! Actually yes I did... Cubby from CubPilot's Hanger went through it with me and helped me get things in order. Thanks for checking though!!
  10. VERY true... I forgot they do that now. Welcome to the world of instant news...
  11. Ahhh thanks... I did read it... I also managed to forget that I did!!! It also apparently didn't sink in!! :megalol: Thanks!!
  12. SWEEET!!! That would be what I am looking for!!!! Thanks nomdeplume!!! EDIT: Ok... where am I looking to find this file?? Is it an .lua file or .cfg file type?? Because I'm not finding it.... EDIT: Never mind... found it... Thanks!!!
  13. Ok... my question is where do you enter the laser code given by the JTAC at?? I didn't see it in the manual...or rather I don't recall seeing or reading it in the manual on how to do this... :music_whistling: A reference on where in the manual it is would be handy for me... and if there is a tutorial out there on how to do so would be good as well.
  14. I'm sorry to chime in on this... But THIS kind of a post is neither appropriate, nor productive... in ANY forum!!! Now, back to subject... Is there a way to kind of maybe space the text from the object?? For me I NEED the label to find anything on the ground, but the text usually tend to cover up the target, and I can't see the target...
  15. That is EXACTLY the case... I worked maintenance for 17 years... 2 years F-111's, 9 on F-4 E & G (Wild Weasel's), and the rest on F-16's... SELDOM did the pilot's fly the bird with their name on it... with one exception... the Squadron C/O... He usually had his own bird.... but when he wasn't flying it, somebody was.:thumbup:
