I've successfully export all F-14A/B screens to 3 extended small monitors but they display overlap each other as pictures below. So, how to separate them depends on seat when changing between Pilot (1) and RIO (2) position.

Since LOFC 1.1 to now i just know that Su-25A/T engine can stop while flying upside down and it has been concerned in the flight manual.
But, last night i flew both Su-25A/ and T upside down about 2-3 minutes and saw nothing happened, those planes engine didn't stop ???
But the Su-27 engine will stop after few seconds flying upside-down at any airspeed or its engine could stop about 2 seconds while getting altitude.
Is a bug or Su-27 flight model has changed ?

This makes no sense at all. If you have a target locked already, save yourself some time fiddling around with the TGP and fire.
Also, with TMS forward in the Maverick display, you are not boresighting. Those are 2 different things.
The reason for TGP handoff is that the camera from the TGP has far better zoom and quality than the Maverick. So searching for and recognizing targets is far better with the TGP and can be done further out. The procedure you are describing completely neglates this.
I think what i described above as same as TGP hand-off procedure, maybe manually handoff.
Boresight Mav WPN first to make the seeker stability at any point in close range, then I use TPG camera for searching and lock on any target i want because TGP has much better zoom in scale
TMS Down is only to make Mav seeker automatically move back to what the TGP having lock on, next step is BSGT Mav second time to release weapon

OK, I have boresighted the missiles as described above. The first missile will continue to "C", but the following missiles (and yes, I boresighted both stations) stop at T and won't fire. What am I missing? Here are my steps:
1) Hot start on ramp. Choose PRE one Mavs power up.
2) Boresight missiles (AGM-65D) from both stations on nearby aircraft.
3) Takeoff and boresight missiles AGAIN on a ground target.
4) Make TGP SOI, wait until within maverick LAR.
5) TMS Fwd to point track. Maverick screen shows "HANDOFF IN PROGRESS", eventually ending with a "C" over the station number.
6) Fire missile, tank goes kaboom.
7) Choose new target. Again wait until within LAR, TMS Fwd.... and only a T above the station number.
Any ideas?
Do not need to do hand-off, follow my way to make it easier for some kind of Maverick missile, i did it with D, H and K versions:
- Turn on left/ right pylon, enable A-G mode, power on all kind of Maverick on SMS inventory page
1. On WPN page of Maverick, make it SOI, change to VIS mode
2. Move Mav seeker crosshair to the range under 8 mi, TMS Fwd to boresight (BSGT) first to lock at any point on the ground under 8 mi from your plane.
3. On TGP page, make it SOI, set MAN mode, close zoom in target you need under 8 mi and press TMS Fwd to point track on target.
4. Back to WPN screen, TMS Down ( only 1 time, avoid double press) to unlock/ un-boresight previous point locked and automatically moving Mav seeker to the point that TGP tracking.
5. TMS Up to boresight (BGST) target then release Maverick. Before this step, you can change BW/WB image on WPN page to AREA mode to avoid Maverick lock auto jump on another target.
You do not need to handoff but you can easily to shoot down target you want, same as Pre/auto handoff procedure

You can even take off with wings folded (at least you could, I didn't do it for a long time)
I sometimes fly the Hornet with wings folded + weapons under pylons and doing maneuver, that's great
Take-off without catapult is possible with F-14 + 2 fuel tanks & missile, need to start running from bottom of the carrier ( and avoid to collide other parking planes) . I always do that on John C Stennis with some static aircrafts on the deck for fun, deck crew also won't work in that case.

hi, can i ask what the monitors name is?
That's the Chinese industrial touch/ non-touch monitor from Shenzen Zhixianda Technology
You can easily find them on Aliexpress Shopping Center, i've got 2 non-touch screens with the cost of $60 per each.

@Foka: yes, of coure i set screens size in horizontal and vertical correctly, picture displayed at the center and from bottom of the screens.
Now i add more code for exporting 4 of 5 F-14 displays to my 2 screens, first is the pilot VDI and the second includes 3 others: RIO DDD, ECMD and RIO TID display. Those work well

Thank you Hobel, i delete all the last line "GU_Mainview=Viewport.center"
Set resolution = 4608x1440, ratio: 1.7777777778, that works great, main screen return to normal

Hi all
Yesterday night, i tried to export 2 F-18 MFDs to other 2 small monitors with 4:3 ratio
My main screen resolution is 2560x1440 and other 2 small monitors res all are 8 inch/4:3/1024x768. I've exported MFD at center and set them from the bottom of the display. All were exported exactly as i wish. But the main screen ratio was wrong, picture shrinked in horizontal so i need some help.
Monitors in order: Main screen + Left MFCD on the right + Right MFCD on the right of the left MCD
My configuration . lua file: re-edit LMFCD+Camera+RMFCD
Left MFCD/ RMFCD: width/ height: 686/ 686 (display area)
Main screen:
X = 0
Y= 1440 (start export to monitors from the bottom of the main screen)
Width/ height: 2560/ 1440
Aspect ratio: 1.777777778 (2560/ 1440) or 3/2 ( 4608/ 1440)
Total res in horizontal: 2560+1024+1024 = 4608/ height: 1440
Where am i wrong and which ratio value need to be corrected ? Thanks
Not good at English too!

The final lot of VPC MongoosT-50 Throttle's being prepared for next week's batch!
May i get one v3 throttle like above ?
I don't like the current v4 throttle

Just need a genuine clean "WorldGeneral.dll" file release by Eagle Dynamic instead of reinstalling all the big game
-
Same here, after updated to 2.5.6 Beta, the Kaspersky AV show message quarantined the WorldGeneral.dll so DCS.exe cannot run due to WorldGeneral.dll was not found

I just flew that mission for you after configuring those exact graphics options, I bottomed out at 49 fps when looking around at spawn and 37 fps during the mission overall. Average fps was around 45-50 for nearly all of it. Folding the mirrors gave far better results, spawn fps was 80-100 in all directions and it bottomed out at 54 fps while fighting. Average was over 90 fps for the mission. Lesson there is turn off the mirrors, but that's another topic.
System specs as follows: I5-4690, MSI RX480 8GB Gaming X, 16GB DDR3 (pc2400), win10 and using open beta client.
Hi Beasty, my old HD7970 has gone 1 week ago, so i've just got "a dinosaur" - Gigabyte AORUS GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Edition 11GB, best of the best VGA for gaming today :smartass:
I've refly the above Su-25 mission and...wow, average fps run around 93-115fps, really nice !! :pilotfly:

Well I hope for Vega is good and cheap enough. I will be upgrading too with Ryzan + Vega or Rx580
I don't think AMD Ryzen make DCS much better than Intel
Ryzen 1700X/ 1800X has more physical cores than Intel Kabylake but DCS World eats only 2 cores
The game gains performance if you have CPU overclocked, higher clock frequency per core higher fps
-
I have an RX 480 8GB, it's been very satisfactory in both DCS and BoS at 1080p. Previous card was a GTX770 and it was one hell of an upgrade. Can't say if the 1060 is better in DCS specifically, but in general the 480 and 1060 are equal in DX11 games since the December driver update (previously it was about 10℅ slower). In DX12 and Vulcan games, the 480 is substantially faster. Driver updates for Nvidia won't change that as the 480's advantage is hardware based.
I' waiting for upcoming RX 580 or AMD Vega in few months later, should be a mass upgrade from HD 7970 :megalol:
-
You know the GTX2060 will be price gouged to hell for months though. I think the RX480 is the better bet today. I grabbed one a month ago and it works great and should hold up better than a GTX 1060.
I think i should wait for few months for AMD Vega 11 release if AMD re-confirmation is true, we'll have AMD Vega 11 replaced RX 480 at mainstream platform so the RX 480 - king of Polaris 10 - is out of date :D

Hi,
After seaching the forum without getting the right answer, I am asking here :
I just upgraded to GTX1070 on my I5 6500K (4.4 ghz OC) 8GO ram setup.
I am really pleased with my performance so far as I can sustain 60fps in almost all situations. Except that when I am on the ground looking around at buildings or others aircrafts, my FPS drop at around 45 - 50 fps and panning with Trackir becomes sluggish.
Is it a known issue that FPS get hit on the ground even with aircraft not powered? Or is there any settings I can tweak to avoid that?
Sorry for my Eng is not good. Water, High Visible settings and forests/ large zones of tree are not much impact fps but high detailed model of aircrafts are really stressed.
If you can fly Mi-8MTV2 and got that module, try Mi-8 Free Flight test, take off the helo then fly direct to the nearest airbase at the north. At a distance of about 35-40km from the airbase, framerate sudden has a big drop.
At first flight i really didn't know what made the fps a huge drop to 9-12fps while I was running HD 7970 with normal average fps of 38-55.
Then i found the reason: there're 10 fighter aircrafts on the airbase: 4 low-detailed Su-30s and 6 high-detailed Su-24M2 bombers. Those six Su-24s were the main reason, huge drop fps at any view angle.

Many recent other PC games have FXAA (Fast Approximate AA) antialiasing method, i find that FXAA really good for fps balancing, much better performance than older SMAA 4x, 8x such as in Assassin's Creed Unity/ Syndicate.....but why DCSW doesn't have it ?
-
I always turn on fps counter each time start DCSW, the new amber color of in-game framerate counter in both new update DCS 1.5.6 and 2.0.5 now are too dark and very diffiicult to see how many fps shown on top left of the monitor  . I hope it should be back to previous yellow color :pilotfly:

Wow, that's great, i always fly planes with mirror folded due to decline of fps
A worthwhile upgrade from GTX 770/ RX 280/ HD 7970
Overall fps up to 2x-3x faster

Go for 1060 much faster than 480 https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_1060/11.html

AMD always has problem with driver, not GPU
Their driver optimization is not as good as Nvidia because i think lot of games support Nvidia better, while the raw AMD's GPU performance so powerful.
RX 480 should be compared to GTX 1070, its technical specifications are totally higher than GTX 1060 except core clock frequency.
Have a look at Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 OC, the last boss of RX 480 with new driver, it often lead at top of benchmarks. Hope future Crimson driver makes it more powerful

Just a quick update :
I got today my new 1060GTX 6Gb, and well, it's a glorious upgrade.
Average performance enhancement : from ~50% to ~250%, depending on the situation. And this with graphic settings maxed out.
Totally worth it, in case some folks would like to upgrade from a 750Ti.
The 6GB VRAM are not filled to max most of the time, i'd say 4/4,5.
Good thing is DCS now uses way less RAM, allowing me to let a few chrome tabs while playing.
Thx for the advices anyway.
Flying the Viggen @60FPS and more is pure joy ;)
Nice to hear that, i'm going to upgrade my HD 7970 to GTX 1060 or RX 480
Could you show me some screenshots with in-game fps counter (in Su-25 Instant Action and Su-25T Difficult Close Air Support missions if possible  )
The Su-25T DCAS mission gives you fly over a very large zone of trees with shadow from starting scene when changing camera to the left so it's the most fps killer scene and i want to see the your GTX 1060 improvement.
My core i7-3770K & HD 7970 still get 17-22fps until the Su-25T pass this zone.
-
I don't think you can go wrong either way, one thing to keep in mind is that AMD has had a reputation of supporting older gen GPU's (recieving perf updates) for a long time, which has made the 7970 guite better than it's rivals over time (i hope that was the 7970)
Yep, newer AMD drivers make their older cards better, i've ever played Assassins Creed Unity on AMD Catalyst 14.12 (resolved fps problem for ACU at that time) and found that over 230% fps higher than 14.9 and other previous versions.
AMD also supports their olders GPUs for a long long time, now i still run HD 7970 with Crimson 17.11 Relive well. At this point AMD much better than Nvidia.
But..... :music_whistling: should i wait more a few months for the upcoming Nvidia GTX 2060 with Pascal Refresh ? :D
If op went for say high end 1070 , or 1080, they are just plain very big improvements. Leaving the 7970 totally in the dust. I myself upgraded from a Amd 280X ( a 7970 rebrand)
I'm in Vietnam, here the VGA cost (with tax) much higher than in US (refer from Amazon) so impossible to reach GTX 1070 or higher
These cards here are around US$ 560-630 while on Amazon they're $399 - 407
Mid range cards as GTX 1060 & RX 480 are also at $ 300-400, nearly double price but acceptable.

My current system:
- Core i7-3770K @ 4.4Ghz with previous stock Sandy bridge i5 heatsink fan
- Asus P8Z68 Deluxe motherboard
- 16GB DDR3 1600
- MSI Radeon HD 7970 Lightning (Ghz Edition)
DCSW 1.5x runs around 35-48fps, drop under 30fps at high density of tree zone such as Sochi-Adler base...Recently i've been having stuttering issue, may be the problem with 7970 so i want to upgrade a new one.
Spending lot of time watching reviews on youtube, i've 2 choices: Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 8GB and Asus GTX 1060 Dual-OC 6GB
GTX 1060 looks a bit better in DX11 games than RX 480 but the Sapphire Nitro RX 480 should have more advantages in DX12, waiting for the future of DCSW 2.5 :smartass:
Which one to choose ? :( I heard someone say that DCSW does not work well with AMD card
How to export F-14 screens to monitors separately between Pilot and RIO seat ?
in DCS: F-14A & B
Posted
Not understand yet, it`s means that you only choose Pilot or RIO seat before the flight ?
