  1. Thanks for the reply. We just realized we have a Moose script on this mission, so we think that's a factor. We've tested on Caucasus map and cannot duplicate the issues. We created a new clean Nevada mission, and found that the Mav will track properly on the first pass, but after hitting the first target, it seems to fail to accept the hand-off from the TGP. Says it's doing it, but never locks on. More common in multi-player, although I had it happen in the last two tries on the same Nevada mission in single player. Would that track file help trouble shoot (likely user error).
  2. Will do. BTW we're finding the same problem with the old TGP. Missile is offset right same distance.
  3. This issue may be related the Maverick NOT the TGP. Using the old TGP I get this. Same offset.
  4. Having a related issue. Maverick moves to target area, just not on the selected target. In PRE mode, TGP locks target in Point track. Hands off target to IR Maverick and switch's SOI to Maverick. Maverick aims right of target every time by same amount. HUD shows Mav seeker offset to the right same amount every time. Using Hot Start on ramp. Tested alignment of MAV to TGP on ramp with same amount of offset every time. Two of us duplicated the issue on multiplayer as well as single player.
  5. There's an F15E ground strafing mission with scoring using a script by @ciribob. It uses the 476th targets mod. Has anyone created a boiler plate of this type mission that lets you select/place different aircraft? I'd like to fly the P51, F16, etc and getting scoring. Searched, but haven't found anything yet. Appreciate any feedback or links.
  6. I have the F16EX joystick. I've programmed button 2 on the RZ axis button/axis switch as a modifier in the DCS Controls menu. My intent is use this modifier with the radio selection commands in DCS to switch between radio selection and VOIP radio selection in the A-10C2. When the RZ axis switch sets button one TRUE and button two FALSE, all the switches on the throttle and joystick work fine. When I set the RZ axis switch to button one FALSE and button 2 TRUE, only the radio controls with the button two modifier set in the DCS controls window will work, but nothing else. It acts like it changes everything to require button two to be "TRUE" and programmed into the DCS Controls settings. It didn't do this before todays update to the SIMAP PRO Software. Trying to contact them as well.
  7. The Afgan Map Instant Action Free Flight mission for the A-10C2 presents an Error Message (in yellow) on both MPD's stating Left MPCD Button Stuck. Cannot be cleared. Verified no cross connections in the controls configuration. Does not happen with the Take off From Runway mission.

  8. Well this is embarrassing. Turns out it was the UPS that was alarming. Computer power supply pulling too much at high graphics use. New Starforgesystems.com machine is amazing.
  9. Thanks all for the suggestions. This system is 9 years old. So I've given up and ordered a new Starforge Voyager 2 system. At 76, it should be the last machine I ever buy. Won't arrive until sometime in March, so I'll struggle along for now. Question, do I just do a fresh install on the new machine and login to get my maps and modules etc.? Thanks again for all the suggestions.
  10. Apologizes if this belongs somewhere else. Could not find an area for this specific kind of question. It has to do adding another 32GB of RAM to my machine. It's a Lenovo K450, so there are limited things I can do. I've upgraded to an RTX-3060 w/12 GB of RAM. Replaced the CPU with an I7-4790K 400Mhz 4 core 8 thread unit. It's as high as I can go with this motherboard socket. I have 32GB of 1600MHz RAM (4 x 8). The only thing left I can change is to add another 32GB of RAM. Since I've spent several hundred $$ on GPU and CPU upgrades (not to mention new WinWing throttle and joystick) I don't want to keep trying to put lipstick on this pig unless I have a good chance of improving performance. Running DCS, my CPU, RAM, and GPU use rates are all at or near 80 percent. I can only run DCS at the lowest graphics settings. If the GPU runs more than 80%, I get an audible alarm that won't stop until it gets below 80%. As a side note, MSFS at the lowest settings runs over 80% GPU use at startup. Can't run it at all. So - is there any chance adding an additional 32GB of RAM will allow me to run DCS at more high-end settings or is it just good money after bad? Retired and can't afford to keep making mistakes. Appreciate any feedback.
  11. As soon as I drop below 90% GPU utilization, the noise stops. Have the same issue with MSFS. As long as I reduce the graphic settings so it runs below 90% I'm fine. Appreciate all the feedback.
  12. I'm having an issue with the Nevada map QFE settings given by the "ATC" being below what I can dial on the Altimeter. It's generally something like "24.52". I haven't changed anything in the mission editor. Am I the only one? Did a term search with non results. Appreciate the help.
  13. Sorry, just noticed your reply. Not sure where it's coming from. But it only happens when GPU use exceeds 90%. I lowered graphics settings and it has stopped. There's some "buzzer" device in the monitor somewhere .
  14. The sound is coming from the monitor itself, not through the computer speakers. I changed the refresh rate to 60 hz. Great screen image and everything runs fine until I hit the 90% rate. Not sure how to reduce GPU use when CPU and 32 GB of RAM are at 70+ %. I'll run 2.8 stable until they push Nvidia stuff to that. May have to just give up at that point. Retirement doesn't allow the kind of equipment it appear DCS is moving to. Appreciate the help.
  15. No it's 70. Thanks I'll try that. I did find that the alarm sounds whenever GPU use exceeds 90%. Thanks again. This stuff is way smarter than I am.
