Tried the mission you suggested and that was a real challenge, it took me several tries before I made it. But I can not stay connected with the tanker when it goes out of turn to level flight yet, more practice... more fun. I had daymode on the hud, looked good. I thought it felt like this refueling mission was more difficult in general than others I have flown. Found a clip with one of my first attempts af AAR, looks like a drunken monkey flying a pig, atleast I felt like one, I thought this was impossible and I was frustrated when I saw so many people on youtube who did this look so easy. Some trim and alot of training was the answer for me.

Yes, I will try the racetrack soon, with turns start/end. I didn´t get it to work as I wanted in the ME until late yesterday, (past bedtime) I blame this sim for that. "There was a mission attached in this thread, but I couldn´t start it, it never leaved loading screen." I usaly decrease the intensity of the hud when flying night/goggles, never tried to have daymode, will try.

This was a little bit more interesting Orbit, night, faster I think it went pretty well, got one "Brake away" for some reason, maybe someone could tell.

I like it this way. it´s easy, and when I roll the axis all the way back, it´s always at my perferable zoom level, I don´t have to fine tune.. (zoom in a bit.. ohh to much.. zoom out.......)

Hi there everyone I use the logitech g940... wich is an ok system, it would have been more than ok without the axis spikes. First I just mapped one of the throttle wheelaxis to the zoom function. That was a bad idea, atleast for me. Spikes and zoom are no good combination. I just wanted to show how I use the zoom in the simulator. I use the zoom in 2 steps, the first I like to see as a focus step, and the other as my binoculars. This way I don´t have to bother for any spikes. I have mapped this to one of the little wheels on my g940 throttle. .....Tried MS Flight today......... lots of dots here....... I realy understand why the word "simulator" was removed.... ....It´s already in the trash. There is some (a lot of) work needed (if it´s possible) before I try that again. Why do they release a product like that? Ruin their (for me) fine flightsim reputation. For me a total disappointment. Hmmm... I didn´t realize this was a bug.... I thought it was sun reflections from ground objects :lol: For me they only appears when I fly near a town or village and they seem to come from ground objects only... So they never bother me.. or should they?

Hi all :helpsmilie: How do I install the missions from DCS main page "user files"? When I download and extract there is a "mission" file, a "options" file and sometimes some soundfiles. What should I do with these files? I thought the missionfiles where named *.miz so a little help would be good. Have a nice day /Sumerion

Problem solved. I had a friend over and he fixed it somehow. He Said he made a forced install of the tray tool. I dont know but now its working, crystal clear cockpit. Thanks for replays. /Sumerion

thanks for replays. I can´t install Tray Tool, Windows tells me after installation that some low driver or something couldn´t install and that I need to turn off UAC and install as admin, I´ve done that but the installation fails anyway. Is there no other solution?

thats the thing, there are no mipmap option in CCC 11.8 That was my first though and thats why I tryed to install Ati Tray Tool. And texture options are set to high.

Hi all Here is a question thats already been on the forum, I have read all the topics I can find about this but I can´t get it solved...:( I have blurry left and right consoles, the front panel is ok, clear and nice. The game looks nice and runs nice on high settings, it´s just the consoles in cockpit. In previous versions of CCC there was an Mipmap option but that was removed for some time ago. I tried to install Ati Tray Tool where the mipmap option comes to life again, but my windows gets crazy and won´t let me run the program even with UAC off and insalled as admin :mad: I have tried alot of diffrent settings in game and in CCC and my current settings are: In game: Textures - High Scenes - High Civ traffic - Off Water - High Visib Range - High Heat blur - On Shadows - High Res - 1920x1080 Aspect 16:9 Monitors - 1 screen Res. of cockpit - 1024 every frame Msaa 16xQ HDR - Warm Vsync - Checked Full screen - Checked Cockpit Shadows - Checked TSSAA - Checked CCC AA - use application settings AF - use application settings Tess - use application settings Cat.Ai Texture filtering - High with checked box Vertical refresh - Off AA mode - Performance OpenGL - Unchecked I have tried a lot of diffrent settings in CCC and in game. My system: win 7 64 i5 750 OC3.2 8GB ram ATI 6950 2GB - CCC 11.8 HDD 7200rpm I really hope someone can help me with this, I love the game and the last touch would be readeble text in consoles, right now i´m flipping switches and guessing with no good results.
