So I reread the manual and have successfully used Vikhrs in Manual mode on some longer range shots... However, I really do not know what I am giving up or doing when I switch to Manual. I make sure everything is lined up as best as possible and use the nose-sensors-on-target approach that is mentioned above. I usually launch the Vikhr then switch immediately back to Auto as it rides the beam down. I also compensate for some variables, e.g. if a bit out of range, I will climb a few hundred meters in alt. But in reality, what all do you have to compensate for? Can someone explain it in detail? To this point I chalk it all up as luck. Thanks

So... Since it seems BS2 is running on some version of A-10C code, does anyone out there think it is possible to hack thermal into the Shkval making it think it is a targeting pod on the A-10? It would show off what the industry is trying to do to update the old bird! Just a thought...

I have a Nook Color. You will need something that can grab either a raw graphic from the computer memory/screen (like the iPad app), or have a conduit right into BS2 that reads the data and draws it. Neither, to my knowledge, exist right now. Anyone want to write a Helios-like keyboard emulator and ABRIS/Shkval screen export for Android phones and tablets? :) I would consider donating money to such an effort.

Anyone get the new Tacview to work with BS2 and Helios? If so, how did you get it to work with specific instructions! Thanks!

OSHA does not have jurisdiction over Russian battlefields... You don't need to shutoff your engine. I usually land, throttle down, open door, ask ground crew to rearm, shut door (don't want to damage my ears), and wait. Works everytime a friendly crew is available.

Can't Get Aspect Right Posted that I couldn't get my aspects right... I found a typo in my one file. It all works now. Now need the flare counts to export!
