Anybody ever notice that if you take the wings, elevators, and forward fuselage off the F-14, you're left with a Lamborghini Countach?

The updater function in the start menu did it.

In my install there is windows start menu app that's used for updating. I just searched in my start menu DCS updater, click it and voila, it's updating.
Now everybody is saying you have to use cmd promt and a lot of hassle? Am I missing something here?

As a kid from the 80s, the F-14 was naturally my favourite fighter jet due to films like The Final Countdown and Top Gun. My favourite car was the Lamborghini Countach. I never noticed until just now how much the Countach took from the Tomcat in the sculpting of the body panels.

With 2.5 out now hopefully work will be more efficient not having to support three versions. With the chaos of the last couple of years I can understand them wanting to wait for 2.5 before doing major updates.

I will buy it. The first DCS biplane. Also if it helps them to keep going and finish the MiG I'm all for it. I imagine they are probably waiting for the dust to settle with 2.5 before finishing the MiG and corsair. Having to work through new bugs every time a patch is released on three versions probably uses up a lot of time.
