  1. Here is a link to a good site with videos of a number of Russian SAM and other units. Gives an idea on what you would see on a launch IRL. http://www.aviation.ru/www.rusarm.ru/video/
  2. Quite right, Batman! Didn't think of it that way. It does say a bit on what radars are used (my book), but as you say, NATO won't name something unless they are actually 'faced' with it.
  3. A scrum is a part of the sport of Rugby. I don't follow the game, but it's a big thing here in parts of Europe. Need a fan of the game to explain it in detail, if you want... As for geteing more NATO names for your chart, my book doesn't provide any on the newer RF aircraft. It mentions the SLOT BACK with the SU30; as I see you already have in your handy chart you made up. But no mention of radar names with the Su34...
  4. IK, when you say a list of RF aircraft, how do you mean? A list of types or NATO names or what? I have a good book which has some info you may find useful; book is called Russian air power. A50 is Mainstay, and awacs radar is called squash dome (NATO) shmel (RF - bumblebee). Bugger; I have no time now to look up more stuff, so I will read through this book and try to colate a bit more info. Let me know if there is any specific info' you want, and I'll try and get it...:)
  5. Sorry, Pal, forgot to mention I cannot remember where to change these values. If some one could remind us both....Thanks.:)
  6. I have it written down, here it is; Gametimeout=600 Pingperiod=1 Maxpacketsize=500 Idletimout=600 have fun.
  7. Have tried all the go across it at 45%/fast/slow/backwards/forwards/etc.etc stuff but none of it seems to help. If you go slowly, no tyres burst but the steering fails! I have actually managed to get across before I realised it was a bug, but now I'm aware of it, it's 10 times harder!!!
  8. No, this is not alluding to limited parking around the area, it is a bug I have just spotted around the AC parking areas at Krasnodar Central. Just been flying on the 169th HL mission (excellent), and realised that if you pick the Su25T where you start from the AC parking area, you cannot Taxi away from there to the taxi-way without almost certain damage to your Under-Carriage. There is a strip of green between parking and taxiway which breaks the gear when you pass over it! Is very frustrating and have tried to find a way round it or over, but no good... Don't know if other AF are affected by this. I have been on LO since it came out, and not seen this before. Is it just the one AF affected, does anyone know? I will attach a screen to show the location. Pic below shows my 25t stuck 'in the groove'.
  9. Airtime publishing have some good up to date books. Use a search eng' to find them. I have another good one called the great book of modern warplanes. Has been out a couple of years or so, and is good on Western AC (mainly Fighters) but not detailed on Russian stuff. ISBN for this book is;0-86288-680-5.
  10. Yeah, Once I got past msn 8 I could go no further. Can't even get into 25tFC campaign now.... Just locks up my PC.
  11. Blimey!...You can order the wingmen around with voice commands? I didn't know that was possible.:o I do know about voice commands for PC's, but how does that work in Lock-on?
  12. You make sure you DO get TIR. It's an absolute must.:) When you've had it a month, you'll wonder how you ever did with out it! I have been thinking of swapping my X45 as it needs constant repair. Is the X52 more reliable, and does it have at least as many buttons and options?
