Maybe it looked CG because it is CG. Then don't watch it! Belittles? That's like saying "Memphis Belle" and "The Battle Of Britain" movies belittles black pilots of WWII because there are is no acknowledgment of them in either film. If it wasn't for the Taskegee airmen, there wouldn't be a single WWII movie with a black pilot in it and that's why they overcame that adversity. To be recognized as an equal. So you want the movie to be historically accurate but leave out the part about race being an issue in the U.S. Army during WWII? BTW. I too hope they tell the truth about the statistics. I know some bombers were shot down and I hope they say so too. The truth is always good but Hollywood doesn't care much for the truth. Doesn't this movie do that? Other than the evil part isn't that what happened? Better idea! Change the script..... They were nice civil rights Generals? They were helping the black aviators? They weren't even black aviators. They were just well tanned aviators. Well lets just throw away all the history books and act like this never happened. Tell you the truth, I'd rather know the ugly truth than a sugar coated lie. All men are created equal unless your a Tuskegee airmen. Then lets not make anymore movies about you and make, "Saving Private Ryan Part 2." Dude, if I know Hollywood this movie will show the hardship at the start, then the unity at the end with everyone, black and white, screaming USA! USA! at the end because USA saved the world. Again!:D Unlike you, I'm looking forward to this movie and any others that involve aviation. To the OP, thanks for sharing.

It's good to see second place hotly contested. Usually polls are so one sided. I used to be, I want to only see jets person too but the closer it gets to being announced, the more excited I'm getting about it. Once the DX11 terrain is implemented, ED should be able to pump out WWII planes pretty quickly you'd think. No chaffs, no flares, no MFD's, no SOI, no SPI, no RWR's, no FLIRS, no AWACS, no aerial refueling and no weapon management systems to name a few items not needing work. I'm not a WWII aircraft fanatic, but aren't most WWII aircraft basically the same(system wise)? Other that the model and FM, what else is needed?

Just thought I'd share this since I'd never heard of it and maybe some of you haven't either. From what I gather, the Trophy is a self defense system for vehicles. If a tank has this system and is fired upon by lets say an Anti-Tank missile, when that missile gets close enough the Trophy system will fire its own ordinance to destroy the Anti-Tank missile. The Black Shark and the Warthog will be doing a lot more gun runs if the is ever Incorporated into DCS.

Was just watching Dogfights on the History channel and was thinking, "What aircraft would you all like to see if the DCS Flying Legends aircraft is a WWII Plane?" I bet most of you would like to see the P-51. I myself would like to see the P-47 Thunderbolt. How cool would that be to see the Grandfather of the A-10. I know ther are more then 10 WWII aircraft that people would like to choose from but the poll only allows 10. Other examples in no piticular order. Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate Grumman F-4F Wildcat Grumman F-6F Hellcat De Havilland Mosquito Curtiss P-40 Warhawk Messerschmitt ME 262 Messerschmitt ME 163 To name a few.
