PM read. And yes, "order of installation" might make a difference. But that's vague / hypothetical. See what I wrote to start with: I installed World, then A-10 and Ka-50. And no, I didn't note the order. Never thought it could matter. Still don't think it does. And if it does then it shouldn't.

So far all the people saying, "Uninstall and then re-install" haven't bothered reading my post. So they want to play multi-player war games, and they want to give advice in multi-player war games, but they refuse to read. Kinda like IRL, nae? ;p Still no idea why A-10 fails. BTW I was very happy that one of the times I installed the mod I was challenged for a CD key ... and the CD key was pre-populated ... and I encountered no problem with that. Thanks to DCS for having made that more bullet-proof. ^5 Advice to those who feel the need to reply: read what has already been said. As though there are other sentient beings in your world. Just where, I can't see. I wrote "re-installed world. How is that wrong? I wrote "and re-installed". So what about that is wrong? Oh-wooops. But if that's key, why is Ka-50 working? And if I did everything wrong, again: how is Ka-50 there to play under world?

I had purchased and installed in this order: Ka-50 (this time last year), then A-10, then World, then Combined. I had flown Ka-50 with success (and great pleasure!) Most recently, updated Ka and A-10. No joy A-10. Tried everything ... found Su-25 working. Still no joy A-10. Uninstalled World using unins.exe to clean everything out. Reinstalled World and mods. Ka-50 just fine. Su-25 intermittently. A-10 no joy. Re-downloaded A-10 mod and re-installed. No joy. So: I have tried everything I know. Out of ideas. Where to start? TIA

HiYa - I got DCS_World_en_1.2.0.63205-3.bin via HTTP 1 at 1Meg/sec. The other files ... equally large ... I can't get better than 60Kb/sec. Is that just today? -2 is going to take something like 8 hours. cheers! --ben p.s. the EXE isn't large, so of course didn't take long

I have heard that I could use DataLink to share with an A-10 but I don't know that for a fact. IRL that sort of interoperability is a major problem. I think they're moving to a higher level of abstraction that would allow all systems to share, but that there's no simple workaround. In BS2 is there a way right now? What comes to mind as fantasy is to have both A-10 and Ka-50 using JTAC.

I saw one project where a small group of modders were creating an AAR system for ArmA. In effect they were logging object movements, actions and states. Is possible with the DCS system?
