not to hijack this thread, just not sure where to go. but with the different a/c that are being made, wold a fauklens mape be considered to.

A balanced war, i think not. the politicans told us how to fight against all military advisors. We had the planes, ships, ground troops better trained and adapted to the jungle faster than expected. developed seal teams, green berates, chopper assults, chopper gunships, river assualts, and the list goes on. the nva was not a force till much later. vietcong fighters where the real force. fighting in the jungle with ambushes and terror. thank the political power of the us for the loss.

you list a lot of a/c but you for get the carrier stations and the A-4 Skyhawk that was there the whole war. It flew north and south both navy, marine corps. I too would love a vietnam DCS map. just hope it comes before i get to old to fly in it.

hay jaz, it seems people have moved to veao mod section for A-4C and your left in the wind. what is going on? have you quit or sold it, what? please explain.

it'a been two weeks since anybody posted any comments here. sure would like pics or updates. maybe a leave me alone would sufvice. lol please keep the comments coming.

what in the heck is going on. Nobody wants updates? I sure do. did you get somebody to do insterments? is the cockpit done? have you model a mer or ter for the aircraft? any info would be nice.

all this is not to make you feel stupied. not all people know about all aircraft. but there is a group of us that love the little scooter called the A-4 skyhawk. if you have questioons just ask. english is my first language and still cant spell. lol . you do things that others cant. just do the best you can with the skyhawk. we will help.

As Mk_82 showes you, that mer holds a 500 lb bomb. the thing is that if 500 lb bombs are used then you have to leave one off. the forward inboard rack on the A-4 could no hold a bomb because of the wheel well door. Mk-82 due you have any drawings of the areo 7 center line bomb rack or the aero 20 for the wings. whould like to have lenghts on the ters and mers too. diamaters also.

looks like everybody else covered it pretty well. i agree a4skyhawk.org is a great source for general stuff. they just dont let you down load stuff. some pic's can be bu there is a lot that will not. mer's and ter's where developed by us navy officers at china lake back in the mid 60's. you could carry 250 lb. bombs, 500,1000, 2000lb bombs. walleye bomb and bullpup missiles too, as well as b-47 nuke bomb. the racks where developed for the A-4 skyhawk. they worked so well that a lot of aircraft used them and still use them to this day.

understand frustration. just keep us updated like you just did. al we ask. do you have the sticks / drawings ready to go. if so could you list what you have so far.
