I HAVE DOWNLOADED DCS WORLD AND BS-2 MORE THAN ONE TIME AND I HAVE INSTALLED IT MANY TIMES TRYING DIFFERENT THINGS AS I GO AND NOTHING WORKS. AFTER I SELECT A MISSION AND CLICK "FLY" IT GOES THROUGH WHAT LOOKS LIKE IT IS TRYINGTO LOAD THE MISSION AND THEN "DCS HAS STOPPED WORKING, PROGRAM WILL CLOSE. I HAVE TRYIED TO DO EVERYTHING THAT WAS POSTED ON THE FOURMS, NOTHING WILL WORK. DCS BS-1 WORKED WELL IN THIS COMPUTER BEFORE OF COURSE THERE WAS NO "DCS WORLD" WITH BS-1. WILL BS-2 RUN AS A STAND ALONE WITHOUT DCS WORLD?:mad::mad::mad:

I have since installed DCS World and BS-2 and guess what It won't work! Message says that DCS Has Stopped Working, Close Program. Dose anybody if BS-2 will work without World (like BS-1 did with stand alone) with my pit sim? Garic Storm, Try running with administor rights.

Yes, They are posted. I did install DirextX9c, from the install and also C++, but however when I do that I get a message that says there is a more current program installed on this system. see attached

Viper I have been reading your reply in post # 12. I downloaded DCS World and bs-2, put it into a folder on desktop and installed it into the the folder in C drive as you sait to do and then installed BS-2 (KA-50 en 1.2.3 10201_147.exe.) and when I run the program I get the message DCS has stopped working, da,da,da,da,da Close program. I have done this twice and th same thing. I did deleate the files in saved games piror to this. Any ideas?

:helpsmilie:Can someone help me out with this, After a new install of BS-1 and a new install of the Patch 1.0.2 BS-1 will not open. What is up with this. It all worked fine with windows XP, But now with Windows -7, "NOTHING" :mad:

Hello all. It has been a while since I have needed your help but the time has come again. I recentely purchased a new computer with windows 7 installed on it. (still old school) and after I did a new install of bs-1, I downloaded the patch for it (patch 1.0.2) and when I went to open bs-1 it would not open. Error message stack/blackshark/modules/me options line 2064 (a nil value) and many more lines with in func. ect. I have since then uninstalled the patch and the game works well. Iam truly hoping that I can get this working becuse my pit sim is all configured for bs-1 (at the time). Iam also considering to purchase bs-2. Please help! :helpsmilie: deskpilot.

Does anyone know if I run black shark on two different computers playing the same game, will i need to install bs on second computer? and if so will I need to activate it there also? Iam trying to do this using ip address. (Helios on one and the cockpit view on the other).

No bother to move, I figured out my problem, I now know how to program the new and improved 128 pos x-keys. if any "newbe's" need my help feel free to contact me. deskpilot

Does anybody know if there is a step by step lay out on how to program x-keys with toggle switches w/lock covers (more than one function for one switch) for a Black Shark pit sim? I just ordered it and Iam not sure what Programming type to use. :helpsmilie:

no, but I have a four monitor pit sim and helios will not work, and Iam running Phamptom BS too.

This is old school talking, Iam trying to install BS1Patch 1.0.2 and it is not working. I just reinstalled BS1 (new install) and then installed 1.0.2 I know that it is not working becuse I had it installed before and I could see it on my desk top Icon. I don't remumber how I did it last time, can anyone help:(

Thank you, thats helps a lot for me to locate the ROOT file, but my problem now is the game will not open. (from desktop or within the game).

Please help!!:mad: Within the last three days I have been trying to install Modman and have it connect to my BS-1 program. Good news/Bad news Good news, I was able to do that after I located my launcher.Exe file and show it where the "ROOT" file was. Bad News, I no longer have a launcher file, the shortcut will not open the game nor can I open it going anywhere else. Error note says unable to locate the component, cannot find the lua.dll file. it tells me to reinstall the application but I really don't want to that unless I have to becuse of the way my game is set up to work with the four monitors in my pit sim. Any Idea's My OS is Windows XP

thanks, I found the download.where does the addon.Ima3 file go? Iam not very good at this so a step by step would be nice.

Thanks for the reply. I did download the files and unziped them and put the sounds folder into my sounds folder, however that did not work. where should the (addon.Ima3) file go? I downloaded Madman but that don"t seem to work for me. Iam runing Windows XP on my system. Do you think this is a fixable problem or will I have to upgrade to BS2? I(am in the middle of building my Pit Sim and as now everything seems to be working quite well except for the language.

Hello All I have a English ver of bs-1 and since I have reinstalled it a couple of times and added BS 1.0.2, the language has changed to Russian. I cannot understand what they are saying. Is there "something" I can do to solve this problem?:(

That is what I had to do also, Return message said that I had 3 activations left? I thoughr that I had only used 2 of the 8. I guess I was wrong.

HELP!! I just updated my GPU and my CPU and now when I try to play BS-1 a message tells me to type in my ser#. But everytime I do that it says that the number is incorrect. It's not, I tryed like 4 times, same message. What can I do? I recentely changed everything ( lus's) to work on a 4 four monitor system for my Pit.Sim and it "was" working quite well. :thumbup:Peter P I did some tweaking on my lua,s and was able to have this. However ,like you said the game is very slow {in the low setting) but I was able to fly and land. In the "higjh Setting" well thats another story. I will probaly have to up-grade to win-7 and BS-2, but for now I have a perty good idea what to do. Thank You VERY much for your help. "the old fart"

:thumbup:Peter p: Iam sorry for having to send you two threads but I took some time and cleared my mind a little bit and after some tweaking I was able to copy and paste the Optionsdata and the monitor config into my game. However the Options.lua will not work (see attachment.) Thank you very much for all your hard work and help that you are giving me.
