  1. Hi, I am in the process of changing my PC machine totally. Currently I am determined to buy 30" monitor but can not decide which one exactly. Unfortunately i have not had occasion to sit in front of any of the ones mentioned in the title, so what I know is only after reading some reviews. I am just hoping that some of you guys have either of the aforementioned monitors or had an occasion to use it so you could tell me which one is better choice considering the usage for gaming, or may be you could recommend any other monitor for similar price. Thanks for any advises :)

  3. Welcome in DCS world and happy birthday man :)
  4. Thanks for advice baltic_dragon! Already visited Wiki and definitely there is a huge amount of knowledge to get at. The community is indeed incredible and for sure I will have questions to ask.
  5. I am not waiting for the parts - what I meant was that I need this one month more to collect the rest of the money needed to build it. As I understand you are waiting for Ivy Bridge CPUs to be released?
  6. Thanks guys for the warm welcome! There it goes slowhand
  7. Hi blackbelter I am in the process of assembling my new rig to! Hopefully i should have all setup ready till the end of march - so I am joining with you with the pain of waiting for it. As CheckSix mentiond K series are very good for overclocking but CPU is not the only part here - the mobo must be good enough too if you want to have stable system at the end.
  8. A Big Hello! to all you in this great community of DCS world. This something magical about flying has pushed me to be interested with flight simulations since I can remember. I started with EuroFighter 2000, F-22 ADF and F-22 TAW. Shortly after Falcon 4.0 has been born and then all those modes created by the huge community. Unfortunately since then my SOI has been largely shifted and splited between college then passion for programming, family - you now how it is ;) Currently my life has stabilized, at least for some time so I decided to go back to my old passion ;) About a week ago I had opened a wardrobe, and took out my HOTAS Cougar, CH PRO PEDALS and TrackIR and then purchased DCS A-10C. Hour after hour I am more and more amazed by this simulation - the great attention to all the details, the huge amount of systems modeled - this really requires a lot of time and patience to master it - but that is why i am already so much into it. As far as now I have programmed my HOTAS, took the first two training missions and go further and further through the Flight Manual. The next steps for me is to learn "cold start" procedures and then navigation - I hope this is a good direction I am going in. good hunting! Luk
