Hi I use TMS up short, it then changes to point and I China hat forward long. Is that not correct?

Hi So I’m a noob but learning. However I have a issue using the TGP. With it set as SOI, I find a target and TMS up to make it SPI. Then when I do China hat forward long to say make the Mav look at it, it just slews away and the Mav does nothing. Mav are warmed up, and selected in stores. What am I doing wrong? I can’t move on to other weapons till I figure this out. My Hotas is a sexy new TM Warthog and I’m using the Polaris and Schnix profile. Thanks Andy

Well it appears that didn't work after all. Still had crashes. So wiped and reinstalled Win10. Loaded up DCS and locked up again. WTF!. Went into the bios, everything stock but I turned on XMP. Finally flown for a few hours without lockups :). Hopefully that's fixed it.

Resolution only effects pass through, i.e what your monitor is showing. Just set it to the monitors native resolution. It has no effect on the Rift or performance.

Still doing it :(. In game just now, I was busy with the TGP slewing over a tank, went to lock and then slave to the Mav and nothing. All controls other than pitch and roll on my throttle suddenly stop responding. ALT TAB again and back working. Time to dump this POS and get a warthog.

Tried all that no joy. However, I've uninstalled my Avira anti-virus and disabled a few other things as it's not crashed since. Just did a long practice mission and no lockups :D Might have it sorted now :) :)

Hi For some reason my X56 keeps stopping functioning while flying. One minute it's fine and the next I have to ALT-TAB open the X56 software and then go back in game to get it working again. Is Saitek software really this crap? I'm using a profile with no in game assignments other than pitch/roll/throttle axis's. Should I dump the profile and set all controls in game? Only problem with that, is that I use throttle mini stick as slew and top wheel dial as speed brake extend/retract. Is there a better Saitek software version (I'm using latest), maybe an older simpler version? Thanks Andy

I can't play a single game in either version. Both lock up and crash at various points. It can be during the UI screens, loading screen, while flying. NEVER had this in another game. It's ridiculous. All my drivers are up to date, clean NVIDIA driver installation was done using Guru3D's program. Other than wiping and reinstalling windows, I've no idea what else to do, well other than forgetting DCS existed. If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it. Logs from both versions attached. PC Specs: i7700k @ Stock with water cooler (never goes above 40C as it's delidded) MSI Z270 motherboard 16GB DDR 4 Gigabyte 1080ti 27" Dell or Rift (happens in both) Saitek X56 HOTAS dcs 2.0 log.txt dcs 1.5 log.txt

Hi Using TrackIR, you can obviously change the axis curves to accelerate movement to see round the cockpit. However, I don't believe this is possible in VR? If I look down and back, my VR loses tracking. Will more sensors help with this, or can exponential tracking be used with the rift as is on the TrackIR? Does anyone have a good sensor setup? Currently I have only 1 which is above my monitor pointing at me. Cheers Andy
