Hi sgibson, Right now "I am out of civilization" so when i get back to the home i will update last message from Jaguar 1-1 to clear that your last target is infantry ;-) About the time. I believe that there is a time space for minimum of one attack run on that infantry which should be enought since the infantry is maintaining very tide formation and you are equiped by HEI rounds and Jaguar 1-1 can protect itselves so you dont have to kill 100% of that inf. group.

Jaguar 1-1 will fire flare immediately after you tell them to do so but they are not confirming that. But most importantly you even should not need it because after you reach IP you get message from Jaguar 1-1. If you read that message it says that Jaguar 1-1 need from you to kill some infantry which blocks theirs path and you should contact JTAC. After that JTAC assigns you that infantry. So after you kill that infatry you simply leave TGP on that spot because Jaguar 1-1 will pass through it. Because they clearly tell you in that message (when you arrived at IP) that this infantry bock their path which means that they need to go through that point ;-)

I kwon SEALs units from a movies too but I dont know if they are so calm in real battles. I also saw many videos from Iraq, Afghanistan and after each airstrike there is a wave of emotions (it was not Seal though). But I understand you and I will take it on mind ;-)

I belive you have civil traffic turned on because at the end of the mission your target is not any truck but insurgents infantry. And if they reach LZ they simply kill Jaguar 1-1. "Also, the language is perhaps a little bit over the top, even for us non-native english speakers" Dont understand this sentence :-(

What version of game do you have and what version of mission?

I tested it many times and F16s was able always take down those SAs. They should not be there in time when you arrive to IP.

Hi guys. I have problem with infantry. I think that when infantry detect tough enemy it stop moving. I tried solved this issues by using alarm state green but it that case infatry will move but not fire. I simply need moving infantry under any condition but firing (weapons free). The second problem is about flight of 2 helis. When they engaging enemy only one of them attacking the second one just hover around.

OK i did my first flight and it was unsucessfull because i am lame and cant avoid of manpads :-D. So this is my fault, but i have some comments. -

Hi, aguy0523. I have v1.1.1.1 so it's tested only on this version. If it will work on 1.1.0.9 I really don't know. But i believe you should updated to the newest version possible as always. It's fixing a lot of bugs and brings improvements.

Truth is that i tried flares separately in ME and i found out that flares are hard to spot in any day time under any conditions. Even in dark night if you want to spot them by naked eye you have to be extremly close and you have to know where to look. Smoke is fine but it is good for marking "static" position. In case of repeated calling for smoke there will be like ton of smokes on the groud and i believe that smoke is hard to spot too in daytime which i set. You can spot flare even when firing unit is hidden behind the trees or building (especially in case of sharp angle). I know that flares are not best option but i dont know any other suitable solution. (And i dont want to use mechanise unit with ELPRS)

Because "Player" is not "special word" for player piloted aircraft. It is just name of Unit/group. So you have to select name of player unit (it can be Unit #1 for example). But you can rename unit when you select it in ME. I just ranamed player piloted A10C to "Player" for easier orientation. Yes it can. You just use condition "Part of group in zone" then select zone name and group name.

It would be definitely more realistic, but as you can see, even with unlimited flares is hard to keep eye on Jaguar. Update v1.3 posted (minor things)

THX for kind words. I suppose you played first version of mission. In version 1.2 is pickup from LZ fixed. When i tested the mission it seemed to me not too hard to keep eye on Jaguar. You have to just locate them once. Then they telling you in the radio that they are heading to west and you just slew TGP along them. I believe that flares should "shine" a little bit more but in TGP in FLIR mode are visible but you have to know probable position of Jaguar.

THX I tested it out again and JTAC gives me good coordinates of those IFVs (they are in 45m radius from given point (in treeline) and they are marked by IR). Definitely will do. thx I dont know i believe it could be annoying when you use this function in short time after each other. I will consider it. It is fixed by now. THX for your report i need feedbacks
