Quick question ..is that 200gb size at phase 1 or final size …with all the extra stuff in phase 2 and three and winter/autumn textures, could it end up being bigger … either way still a day one buy

Are the hot air balloons removable…I can’t imagine they would be having a nice day ballooning if the balloon had gone up ..so to speak

would it be possible to have a flak barrage, like the shelling zone command in the mission editor... where you can set the size, altitude and intensity of an area of flak, without having to place the guns and set up the fire at command

It’s strange that it doesn’t seem to effect any of the other tpod displays, only the Kiowa, and it makes target finding an absolute pain

yep, its a bit of a pain ... you ether have clear MFDs and half FPS or full FPS and mfd's that look like somthing out of the 1950s

yep, you can only move the channels upwards with the control on the cyclic, just spent 10 min thinking my throttle encoder that i have set up for that was playing up

The heatblur changes are included in the patch log, the polychop are not, I would assume this is because they were not intended to be and only added by mistake

Is there any way to alter the point of view for the NVG, when using VR. At the moment the nvg reticule is aiming towards the top half of the windscreen when looking straight ahead, and to look at the nose of the aircraft you almost have to look down at cyclic stick. on the black shark you can adjust the angle of the helmet mounted sight, just thought this might be good for the Kiowa.

i think the hot fix was more to do with stopping CTD's than adding stuff, we will probably have to wait for the next big patch for any additions, oh well still having a blast with both the chinook and the kiowa

had a hard lockup when trying to use a Hellfire against an AI Mi24 ... unfortunately no track file because of hard lockup, had to task manager to get out of game, also noted several times where hellfires would not launch straight away and had to re-lase then try again

How are the destructible features like bridges and other static targets, the subs and other ships

If something does happen and they do hold the f4 until June … that is going to be one hell of a patch, with Afghanistan, the ch47 and whatever else we are getting .. that could be two day download

with regard to the asset packs, its the same solution that bohemia did with arma 3 ... you can buy the hi-res good dlc or you can use the low-res free stuff, a great answer not to split the community

As it says it the title... imagine running a Humvee as a Jtac and having to dial into a orbiting A10 or ah64, now that would be awesome.

Don’t know if this will help anyone, but was flying over the Sinai map and checked the map, started getting the screen tearing in the right eye of my quest 2, then had to take off the headset (the postman having the audacity to try and deliver something whilst I was flying
) but when I came back and put the headset back on it was back to usual smoothness and no tearing … haven’t had s chance to try replicating this.

Would it be possible to add an option in the F10 map to export the Lat/long and height at the cursor point to the Kneeboard.
this would be great for VR users.

I have just had a couple of instances of this over the past couple of weeks, zero changes to PC or internet service providers, at my end nothing new apart from the last couple of patches to DCS.
the last one happened about 12-13 minutes in, just plonked a corsair on the ww2 marianas map and was loading some weapons in the mission editor and sudden freeze and Login expired
