You know what I would really love? I haven't read all posts, because it's a lot, so don't bite my head of if it has already been discussed. I would really love a cold war era jet. Prefferably with the era as a world, but that would be a little too much at once. I just would love to crank up an F-105 Thunderchief, An F4 Phantom, A7 Corsair, F8 Crusader or maybe a Russian Jet, like the Mig 21, Mig 19. Mig 21 is already being made, but I mean a Mig 21 of the 60's and not a modernized version like the BIS. Man that would be cool. But the F105 is definatly one of my wishes.

Pretty much the first three. Russian planes i don't give a .... about. I love airplanes that are practical and pretty. Not just practical like most russian aircraft are. By the way I kind of had it with russians in WW2. These days you get thrown to death with russia in WW2 games. When there is a WW2 game it's always russia thats one of the party's. Don't like it anymore.

Sie wollen die HOTAS Warthog oder die Saitek X-52. Das sind die schonste joysticks die dar sind. X-52 ist ein "cheap" joystick. (ich bin keine deutcher, sorry fur das schlechtes deutch) Aber die Hotas Warthog ist ein expensive aber gutes joystick.

Hi, Another problem and believe me that I am getting tired of these problems. Luckily a have no experience withe computers. Every single time I try to play DCS World online, I can choose the A-10, but then I become a spectator and I don't end up in the cockpit of a A-10. Then when I choose the SU25 I start in the cockpit imeadiatly. For some details: - I am using the same Username and password as before we had to switch to DCS World. The same Username and password I was able to fly the A-10 with online. - I have downloaded and Installed the DCS World compatible A-10C module. I did not pay for it, considering I payed a shitload of money for the boxed version, that like my Black Shark 1 module, is not usable anymore. (Thank You verey mutch ED for the constant changes and making sure I need to rebuy the same Ka50 module that only has a few adjustments.) I just want to fly the A-10 online. Thats it. There were a few people who helped me out a little on a different thread. Nothing helped yet. Thanks for that anyway. Apreciate it.

Well, I have the DCS World and the A-10C 1.20 for DCS World. That works. But with registration, I don't mean that I need a password and name to login, that I have. But I mean that I need to register my CD-key again, so I can play online. I tried this through the loginscreen, but I can't do it that way. I need to know how I can register my CD-key again. Thats it, nothing more.

Ah Thank you my friends. Another problem solved. Last question. How do I register my DCS A10? Downloaded the DCS World compatible version, just couldnt register it yet and now I can't play it online. I just have a retailversion though. Want to use that CD-key. Anybody know how? Thanks again

Hello, I have another problem. Thanks to help from people I finaly got DCS World and DCS A-10 to work, however ther is now a new problem for me. I played A-10 and I have a bewutiful HOTAS Warthog for it. It always worked nicely for me. So I set the rudderpedals withe the toebrakes and everything, I made my own mission, started up the jet and everything worked. Untill I notices my Ailerons dindn't move. Lookt at the joystick and I saw that tje flightstick on screen didn't move either. Throttle part worked. I looked in options, went to flight controll and then I noticed that the joystick wasn't set properly to the "FLY- left wing down" and all those movements. So I tried to set it so it would work. However moving the stick falls under axis and I could only set buttons. So I went to the axispart of the options and then I noticed that "Fly- left wing up, down and all those movements were not programmable in axis. In other words. My joystick doesn't work anymore. Only the joystick movement doens't work. Everything els works nicely. And I can't program it so it will work. Does anybody know How I can fix this? Thank u

Damn, your right :O I just looked at the 2.0 and 2.1 at the end. About the need for me to download the current v1.2.0 version of the A-10 module: Oh, that pretty much sucks. Thats really lame. Stupid changes every single time. First I paid like 50 euro's for the boxed version of DCS black shark, then they made a black shark 2 so, I have to pay again for the same game actualy and now I have to download the A-10 module. I bought the boxed version so I didn't have to work with stupid downloads that take hours. Well thanks alot everyone for helping me. I realy apreciate it. Thanks again.

The patch I'm trying to install is the DCS World patch 1.2.1 I believe. Yes DCS World 1.2.0 is installed, but the patch doesn't seem to find it when I want to install the patch. The patch came of the official site. So it does excist. I have the boxed version of the A-10 module. I'm assuming you don't need to download the module then. But how do I install it so that it gets integrated in DCS World immediatly? Because when I try to install it it gets installed without involving DCS World. No I did not test the flying yet. I have merely started DCS World and didn't get further then the main menu yet. Didn't have time to test it yet.

Yes I had all the files in 1 map. Downloaded it via torrent and it worked nicely. However now I have a complete different problem. DCS World 1.2.0 is installed on my computer. Now if I want to install the patch, it says that DCS World 1.2.0 should be installed on my computer and it stops the installation. Anybody know how I can fix this problem? I'm really sick and tired of DCS World by now. First the game itself won't install, luckily people helped me with that and now the patch can't find the game itself. By the way, how do I install DCS A-10 into DCS World? I can't seem to figure that out either. If I start DCS World I can't find a button to reggister my CD key or do I have to install DCS A-10 to my computer and will DCS World drag it into DCS World on its own? Becaus I can't find anything to install it into DCS World. Hope someone will help me (again :P) Thanks.

Hi, I have a severe problem. Every time I try to install DCS World, it stops half way with a error message that it is not able to copy a C:/bazar texture winter or something like that. When I ignore it, there are other things he can't copy, same goes for skipping them. So all that rests is to cancel the instalation, wich really bums me out. For some details: I have deinstalled DCS A10 before I tried to install DCS World. I have redownloaded the stuff for DCS World several times after these error-messages and I even made sure that it was all downloaded from the same download mirror and it came from the official site.I get this error every time and I have no more idea what the problem could be. I don't know my computer specifics. All I know is that DCS A-10 ran smoothly on it before. Hope someone can help me.:(

That was not the point. I do appreciate things from the past. Even more so than things of the pressent. I would love a P-51. But then I would love to play it in it's glorydays in the 1940's. Like I would love to play a DCS F-105 Thunderchief in it's glorydays in the 60's in Vietnam. Anyway, Just like to say that in my opinion. Ill 2 sucks dogs for quarters! Sorry had to get that off my chest.

I don't get it. The P-51 is a little bit out of context here. I mean it's a beatifull fighter, but there are a lot of ww2 fighters that are great and could be used with the P-51 in a sepperate 1940's world. So, why not build an acording to DCS standards world with an acording to DCS standards WW2 airplanes. In my opinion Ill 2 never really had a real life feal to it and DCS deffinatly has. So getting in the way of already existing thing/gametype,can't find the right word at the moment, would not be an issue for me. But thats just my opinion. If I could make a suggestion. I would build a couple of eras in this game. So they could make more airplanes like a ME-109, the almost finished P-51, Hawker Hurricane, spitfire, you name it, in a 1940's era situated in Europe or the pasific. The era the airplanes got famous in. Or a 1960's Vietnam era with the Mig 21 or 17, the A4 skyhawk, F4 Phantom and my favorite, the F-105 Thunderchief, ofcourse situated in Vietnam with the jungles and everything. And ofcourse the modern times era for the A-10C and Ka-50 situated in the current map that comes with the game today. By the way, I only named these wars, because to my knowledge, these were the wars planes got specialy built for and got famous in. In my opinion that would be great. This idea would make it more realistic, because you won't have a P-51 trying to dodge a SA-6 sam or whatever type of sam they have today. So this idea of making more eras and then build planes for that era would make the context more fitting to the plane. Don't get me wrong, I know ED has to have enough information about the aircraft they are making for the game and that it's easier said than done. But all I'm trying to say is that in my opinion, this would make it feel more... "right".

Don't agree.Nice Idea that people love carrier opperations, but whats the purpose of it in the game. Boom, your off the carier in a couple of seconds and then you land back on it. In between, there is nothing you do that airforce jets don't do as well.. I read about someone wanting the F22 Raptor. Not gonna happen. To secret still and it is so expensive, that the US does't even use them overseas. Don;t blame them though... they can buy litte less then 10 other jets for one F22. PLus personaly, I don't like glass cockpits. I thought it was more beautifull to have the analog avionics.

Hi guys, I'm new, so that means I haven't read everything, so go easy on the responses. First of all, I like to say dat I hope the F-15 is being made in the DCS games. I like the F14 and I like the F18 a bit less, but I truly think those planes are milked dry. Flight simulator has them and when I was growing up I saw them a lot in flightsims of that time. I kind of got bored of them. Second of all, there is no such thing as overrealistic flightsims. For people who will never make or never want to become a real pilot in the air force, but love realisme in games, this is great. In my opinion, this is as real as it is going to get. I also read about that people want a multirole fighter and that someone said it is not proffitable enough for ED to do so. I agree with that someone. If you don't buil it up en you put a multirole fighter on the market, you lose a lot of customers. Let's be real. People want multirole fighters, because they want to be able to do everything at once and be able to switch role at any second, like for example in playing first person shooters online. No specialization. If they can do everything already, whats the use of buying the rest. I believe I even read that someone disagreed, because he said that people would buy the games anyway, because a multirole fighter wasn't specialized in a speciffic role and therefore pull customers so they can be better at a single role and so have your own role in a team. I disagree. I have seen games made so they had to word in a team. Nobody did it and went of to fight for theyre own killstreaks. If you have a multirole fighter thats exactly what is going to happen. People are going to be interested in their own scores and don't give a crap about the big picture. Why would they, they can do everything on theire own and don't care about the rest. They don't even know them anyway. Multirole fighters will destroy teamspirrit. Unless they are in a clan or with a bunch of friends or something. Hope you were able to follow me :P Probably not haha. But anyway, this is my opinion. By the way, I'm not english so there is a lot of misspelling in here :P
