Just installed 2.5 and cleaned away 1.5 and beta which have been working fine with VR. The problem I have is that I don’t get 6dof in VR. my head is fixed and I can only look up/down and side to side. no leaning of head or moving around in cockpit. Any ideas what is wrong?

I fixed it by changing the monitor settings to 1920x1080 save, exit, reload and change to single 5990x1080 again (I'm on triple monitors) . Now I can set any buttons without it black screen. btw, I have noticed that "tree draw distance" does not make any differance if i run as a single monitor, they popup as i get closer or zoom in, regarless what setting I put. If I run it as 3 monitors, I can see the trees drawn far away without any popping trees, but of course the fps is halved instead. I tried to search the forum for any information / solution to fix it when running as one screen as it gives better fps but I got too much or wrong information. Hoping to get a gtx1080 in the autumn which might allow me to run as 3 screens at 60fps min.

I have the same issue. tried to change any axis or buttons, it hangs. Perhaps delete the settings and do a new one?

in contrast to resolution, the most important value, dpi, is not really higher with starvr than the others. So we are still a long way from the 4k @100 degrees that some say is what is needed to see details well enough at a distance. The problem is that it will cost gpu performance to render the perifial view, which you cannot see with any focus anyhow. 5k will probably take a 980 ti or two to get it running steady at +90 fps. One solution that has been discussed with other vr sets (FOVE) , might be to have eyetracking, and only render the bits you focus on with highest resolution, mimicing the way we actually see things. I'm loking forward to see some reviews on starvr soon. I think it's a step in the right direction for sure.

Ripping off aerilons Is it just me that is too hard in the turns? I have ripped off left aerilon and 25% of the wing 10 times now. :shocking: Just turning, without any damage, pop! and it breaks off. Am I just ....doing it wrong?

winchesterdelta: I have the same issue on an AMD 7970. A simple tap on any key on the keyboard wakes the monitors again. Seems the PC does not like just hotas commands, think the pc is not used and puts the monitors on standby. Have not had that with any other game, but setting the monitors to never shut down would be a quick fix.

+1, having triple monitors where this goes in the far end corners, I really would like to be able to move it. The same goes for moving the coms menus.

Unfortunately, it does not work. Those collumns are still not usable. Seems I will have to revert back to default as per what cichlidfan say. Edit: removed the A10a folder in saved games. Did not realize the profile was saved there. Was looking at the games folders. None of the other profile needed to be changed, so nothing really lost. Happy as a camper :) thx .

It's been a while since I flew DCS, but I'm comming back slowly but surely. As I tried to setup my devices in the profile configurator someting strange happened. Two devices suddenly was not possible to assign any button on. The whole row is blue. If I switch to another plane, it is possible to assign things on them. I tried to find something on this topic on the forum, but could not find simmilar issue. How do I get these devices back? Just Hope I don't need to delete my .lua and redo all settings again. This is what it looks like.
