This is a good example of members not checking all relative posts..Matt sort mentioned of someways going into the development direction ...as far as F-15 and P-51D Mustang's will hardly occur...most jets missions will relate to only jets whereas the Mustang missions will relate to WWII era..
-
You are not serious! If they did that then they would/could lose a great number of New members who jumped on board with the new modules starting with the P-51D Mustang.. A developer cannot just focus on just one area..and hope that satisfies..the many that doesn't work..cause like me I would complain where is what I want and when..instead of this bird..think as a retail store..which has many products up for sale..and for all to choose at their desire...that how business works..supply and demand.. This thread story should end now..

You can always join us on Team Speak and our members will be more than happy to help get it off the ground amongst other flight senerio's cheers VTA-Double_D:thumbup:

Yes, and you will see it boils down to pilot error...hence pilots did no distress call until a second or two then it was too late...
-
Wrong..it refers to all companies...that do any sort of developement When I made that statement it was also meant as the developer would make patches as needed..Microsoft does this almost on a daily basis... No, not really you are mostly paying for the new addon module..without DCS-World the modules won't exist..and won't allow 3rd parties to exist in DCS plans of expansion.. Reason if you pay for a new module and like you say you are paying for DCS-World, then how would the 3rd parties get their share..and do they pay a royalty to DCS for being allow to develop a module to be incorporated into the DCS-World core...I think not..3rd parties also have to pay someone to help develop their product..3rd parties do not do their modules for free..example " Bell Huey " module.

Here..is your answer..

I reallly hate to say this but you are being very closed minded..and to go back to the very beginning of this thread I do believe that you are only wishing your point of view..not others..because you immediately dismiss their views...this is not good.. If you wanted to make it a better constructive view you should have made this along with a poll rather than just your view and hope everyone agree's with you ..but I don't agree with you as others in this thread..only afew mention to somewhat agree.. I briefly did a coding course and one thing that stands out the most to me..is that my instructor said " Get the Product out there and worry about the bugs/issues after.." getting the product out there generates revenue..and revenue pays employee's..and helps the company grow..most issue you speak of is DCS-World core related..so no revenue is generated..since it is free..that said the new aircraft you wish..will only be a distant dream... I advise to read up on Company marketing stratigies..then you will see the inner workings of all this.. I will no longer respond to you ..will leave this to the developers to straighten your queries out...

Case in point: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=108332 Not everyone has the same view of what aircraft..this would be a stalement in the chess world..other than the fact " Edge " comes out on top...
-
Once again I mentioned if it weren't for the P-51D I would have still only be using the FC2 version.. The P-51D gave more interest for me and I do believe others to continue to see and make purchases in favour of future developement of other aircraft..
-
A successful company expands to all levels it can achieve..staying focused on one ( let's say one aircraft ) as a company its assets will be limited in growth...in order to expand into other aircraft takes money..to develop whether real or simulated..DCS/ED took this direction to expand this simulator..plus adding other developers into their development team..to help expand..it is up to you to choose what direction you wish to go and not judge on what other members are forced to choose..I personally like " Options " of what to purchase and what doesn't appeal to me..remember not everything is a high priced sports car...some like vintage vehicles..
-
Well said!
-
No one forced you to make the purchase..if your mind set was on Jet aircraft then why purchase a prop plane.. Myself I like the deversity..of the direction they are going makes for a more robust product..
-
I do believe you see P-51D Mustang's and other aircraft of that era still flying around today, the age of the jet engine..and yes there is a great following..of the Mustang and other vintage aircraft.. I am sure they are aware of the different views for what direction DCS/ED should go but they are there and we are here..if we knew better then we would be in the driver seat..if you dis-agree with the vintage aircraft no one is forcing you to purchase...DCS/ED are looking forward to a new level for the aircraft simulations..and offering to please all masses... If they had not added the P-51D I know in my view I would have not made another purchase since FC2..but in doing so..I have now made many more purchases..like CA,DCS-A10c,Huey and hopefully many more exciting addons to follow...

20 mentally/appearence:music_whistling::music_whistling: 63 real.....damn years go by fast
-
I dis-agree with you on this..DCS/ED is doing the wise choice..of deversifying to please the mass in offering different aircraft for all. A smart company grows and stays in business is one that see the whole picture outside of the box..and expands as the need arises... By improving on the engine core of Lock On...they maintain their core members and expand to a new larger user base.. As for aircraft meeting each other of the same era..DCS did announce for the P-51D Mustang they did say that the FW-190 is in the works along with other projects..same goes for the Jets.. I think you are getting ahead of yourself.. Cheers..

Really well I just saw a news report with a NTSB representative reporting some of the findings to the crash IE: Like the flight was too low and too slow on approach.. Also of the two that died..news reports that one of the 16 year olds that died was apparently run over by an emergency response vehicle...
-
If you watch the link I posted the NTSB did mention flight was coming in too slow and too low
-
Yep, just confirming your info...cheers
-
But I heard on the news reports that the throttle was set to idle..and it was within 7 seconds..they realized their air speed approach was to slow..and low..pilot error...but I could be wrong..I heard this on one news channel.. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/sf-fire-chief-2-dead-crash-were-found-090015957.html?vp=1

Okay have come to the conclusion, that the static air_craft skin's is a DCS issue..several other different skins also don't show up for client's..:music_whistling:
