Nah...getting a new update now...downloading a 157.4 mb file

Never mind last update I just got added in menu " Update DCS World.." now another update is being downloaded...

Not really still says version number: 1.2.5.15865 which is the version prior to this ..

now that is weird its working now after repair...thanks.. downloaded something..but still same patch number as before..1.2.5.15865

Its only repair dcs world..not update..have to go dcs\bin folder for update exe

Well, even when you delete DCS World from system there is always a registry file left behind..not always but sometimes..this could be some of the problem.. here are some registry cleaner links..: http://www.paretologic.com/products/regcure/ http://www.wikihow.com/Clean-the-Windows-Registry-by-Hand http://download.cnet.com/Registry-Clean-Expert/3000-2094_4-10215506.html http://download.cnet.com/Free-Window-Registry-Repair/3000-2086_4-10606555.html this will give you a more indepth idea.. other than that don't know what is going on with your system..

Hmmm, lots of member told you what and where to fix this..but you still must be leaving out an important point somewhere..DCS World is self installing..so unless you are changing directory on it..it should be found " Start\All Programs\Eagle Dynamics\DCS\Repair DCS World " other than that don't know how to help Come Clean on everything you did to install..:doh:...there is a step you are leaving out..somewhere with the downloading part all the way to the install...:music_whistling:

I believe cause the F-18E can now offer Carrier Ops..there are alot here looking forward to that..introduction of the Simulation here...

Okay so you are saying that now you have the "Repair DCS World " in your start up menu..the only other thing is did you clean out your registry files.. If you have it all in the right place like: Start\All Programs\Eagle Dynamic's\DCS\Repair DCS World<<<is that there now...

That's not good its looking for directory file of DCS and since you can't find it, it will crash..

Delete the whole thing and download a fresh one and do a clean install..you should not be missing those files in the start up menu area...:helpsmilie:
