  1. We know it's in Beta! We can handle a few bugs... :smilewink:
  2. Although I like the effect as well, I would much rather have ED put it as close to the real/original engine as possible. We can always mod it back if we like :-)
  3. They still have a week, don't you all have better things to do this.... Oh nevermind, CA this weekend would be GREAT!!!!! :joystick:
  4. He knows we're growing desperate, so I imagine he's having fun teasing us. I feel bad for Timmeh though.....
  5. Not sure what you mean by having a "controller replying back". As far as a cold start, selecting "Start from Ramp" is the way to do it. From there either save the mission and play it through mission select, or choose "Fly Mission" from within the Editor. One "mission" which requires a full start-up that comes included in the pre-made missions is "Shooting Range". I used to run that one a lot when I first started (and didn't know how to create my own missions) just to practice the cold start.
  6. SR-71 Blackbird, but ED is going to have to add a lot more land and possibly even space....
  7. I have no problem with 3-point landings, but the wheel landing is really tricky. I can hold it for a second or two at most, then either the tail drops or I lift off again. I tried the "healthy" jab approach on my last landing and smashed my prop into the runway.
  8. I actually started laughing hysterically halfway through the first video. It's either THAT entertaining, or I'm going insane. Good flying!
  9. It works! Thanks for the help guys!
  10. Shame. I guess I'll just reassign it to a button on the mouse. Thanks for the response.
  11. Upgraded from BS to BS2 today and was instantly impressed with the improvements to graphics, gui, and overall detail. However, in BS1, I would press "Alt+C" at the beginning of the flight, and this would allow me to use my mouse to freely look around the cockpit AND click on the instrument panels. In BS2, I can use my mouse to look around but need to press "Alt+C" in order to click an instrument, then press "Alt+C" again in order to go back into free look. I can see how this would make clicking on the correct switch easier (I've had my fair share of mistakes in BS1), but I'm already pretty comfortable with the way it was and find this new method to be quite a hassle (constantly pressing "Alt+C"). Is there anyway I can use the mouse to look around and click on instruments at the same time? I skimmed through controls and looked at the options but didn't find anything...
