  1. Its ok i found out how to deactivate it. I will do this then repair repatch etc and then re download and install the a-10 module. Although by looking at DCS World in the control panel list it says its only 394mb which cannot be right since DCS A-10 next to it is about 2.7gb. I think something has gone wrong and i am going to have to re-install world anyway. I just don't understand what exactly i have done wrong and how to prevent it from happening again, and there seem to be many other posts of the same nature.
  2. i have the exact same issue as you silvero and got my own post and people are saying unistall the module to me, but from the advice on here to do that i need to remove dcs world entirely and the re-install it.
  3. ok i will try this, but how to specifically remove then A-10 module and not all of world?
  4. yeh me too bud, i tried the repair function and it hasn't helped. I can't believe that i have to seriously delete and re-install the entire dcs world because of a glitchy patch.
  5. It's not the same problem i am afraid. Your problem is with the standalone copy where as mine is soley with the a-10 in dcs world (dont have this issues in the single game) My aircraft is visible as normal in the f2 view, its just the cockpit that isnt present. I have just updated my module to see if that solved the problem but sadly not, so i am completely stumped now :(
  6. this has been moved to the DCS A-10 folder, but its a problem with World?!
  7. Hi guys, I have updated my DCS world, but now everytime i jump in the A-10C I am met with this;
  8. Thanks again for the help, maybe if i press Lalt + 9 to disengage autopilot rather than just pressing A again it will solve the problem. Secondly it says use Lctrl + ' to cycle through waypoints, however the number on the bottom right of my HUD which i presume is the current waypoint I am heading to does not seem to change when i press it. Will let you know when I reach my next major barrier though :megalol:
  9. Ah ok. I went in to missions and found some annotated missions for takeoff nav and landing and gun/rocket training etc. The thing is i kind of get how to nav - you have to track the circle symbol. However its not very clear, so i used autopilot to follow it and everytime i dis-engage autopilot the aircraft develops a real strong urge to turn left and flip over. Is this normal? You can't seem to get the aircraft to stop doing this despite speeding up/slowing down/pulling a lot of G. Also is there a way to change the style of nav to the type in the a-10 and alter autopilot to a level heading settings?
  10. Hi, I have had world for a few days now and everything was working fine, however i tried to go on to training in order to learn about the su25t and it doesn't load up the training missions screen. Both yesterday and today it seems to stay on the loading screen, and when i check windows task master it doesn't say the program is not responding?! Is this just a beta glitch? Regards, Chris.
  11. ''Er how am i going to explain this one ..... ''

  13. HI, I pressed screenshot today to capture a comical shot in game which i was going to post on here, but it didnt take the photo. I tried it again repeatedly, and it doesn't seem to be working. Anyone know why? Regards, Chris.
  14. Hi, Quick question but are there any other maps for a-10c? I have seen some youtube vids where people were flying over what looked like a desert/sand map?
  15. I am just doing that now lol ...
  16. Ah cool I have teamspeak, and thanks again. Its a good game and i imagine it can be a blast too if you your running a mission with someone or just flying around under low bridges. I take it i have to join their forum to find out their server address and check with them beforehand if i am ok to join.
  17. sorry haven't stated it on my profile, i am in the u.k
  18. ace thanks for heads up chaps
  19. Hi guys, Been playing a-10c for two days now and its awesome, I am loving the complexity of it and the attention to detail. I am also very grateful for all the useful guide on here on how best to deploy mavs and use ccrp, and i am slowly getting the hang of it. I have yet to venture online on the a-10c multiplayer yet as i want to get used to the aircraft a little bit longer, however i was wondering there are any groups or anything where i can join and run sorties and learn from the pro's?
  20. Hi I have got the game and this stick today, and i am having issues configuring the throttle also. Anyone got any tips? Ta.
