Hi, Basically I have had my tracker pro clip for a fair few years now, and a good proportion of it is super glue and Sellotape. It still works fine, but it looks gash, and I don't think it will be able to withstand another meeting with my youngest child. I would recommend head tracker software. Any really, it really will help.

Thanks Elliot, I will pick the Harrier up I think as it really does interest me the most. I think I could quite happily spend my time fumbling around trying to learn it. I changed my screen res too.

Hello to Everyone on the Forums, I am returning to DCS after a long hiatus away of quite a few years. I have been keeping up with developments on the Facebook page though, and I'm impressed with the greater content now! Problem is I have forgotten everything! I used to fly with the 74th Flying Tygers before they disbanded, and then a bit with RAF Air Uk for a bit. I used to be able to cold start the A10 with my eyes shut, now it takes me ages just to get an FC3 plane in the air …… :lol: I have a couple of questions in relation to the game though. Firstly I am playing it in 4k fine with no issues, however the icons seems quite small. Is there a way to increase icon size, and do some people use a resolution slightly lesser than 4k for better framerates? is that even a thing? Secondly my old X52pro has long gone, and I got a T.1600m fcs. I am waiting on the TWCS throttle for delivery still though. Does anyone have any good tips, guides, or profiles to use as a base to setting this stick up? TIA Gryph

Yeh sorry if I wasn't clear. Basically I have a mod for the Tornado but it has a mig 29 cockpit. I want to change it to either the SU-25 or the A-10 cockpit, but I am unsure of what scripts I need to alter.

TYGER! How have you been and how have I not seen this post before? But to be honest I don't come on here much as it tends to grind my gears. Glad your back on DCS, and I am glad you enjoyed your foray back in to the world too! Things have improved (slowly but in terms of DCS standards its actually quite rapid!) I think on the back of more revenue from coining out WW2 stuff to catch people coming over from warthunder wanting something a bit more realistic. I still fly occasionally on the VA server mostly, but I took a bit of a laid back casual attitude towards DCS as of late. Although I have not been clandestine, I am definitely waiting to pounce when DCS Nirvana arrives! Catch you around T, Regards Gryphon.

Hi Guys, I am having real issues getting the Kneeboard up in the 25. I have gone through my control options very closely, and it isn't labelled in there! Under where the K's are I have 'Keep terrain camera altitude' and three other options to do with keyboard rate - but none for the kneeboard. I have looked in all the drop down tabs, and in game I have gone though various key combinations with no luck. I was wondering if this is something someone else has experienced and fixed? Hey thanks for the replies guys, You all clearly know your stuff, because after a few tries of various things it turned out to be my HDD that was boned. It's not an old one, and it hasn't happened to me before so i can only presume i was just unlucky. I got a new one sent out to me straight away, and I am now re-downloading DCS World! I found it weird that the problem only affected DCS at the time, and didn't seem to bother me when i was playing other games or watching videos off the HDD?! Anyway massive thanks to Ethereal in helping me sort out my account issues!

Hi chaps I would appreciate some help with regards to my problem, particularly maybe from some one at ED. Basically DCS world started to play up on my computer two days ago after my internet went down, whereby it would crash when trying to load any mission or join any multiplayer server. I did after a while get it to work by using the repair function, however today I tried for twenty minutes repairing it, cleaning out my temp folder, resetting my internet, checking my controller connections, and in the end i decided to simply download and re-install dcs world :( However when i start the installation process I get a message saying; ''unable to create D:\DCS\DCS world\Bazar\efects\BACKBUF'' ''Error 1117: The request could not be performed becuase of an I/O device error'' I have absolutely no idea what this means?! Can anyone help me with this please as i am stumped as to what to do next?! Kind Regards, Chris.

Ok sorted this now, but i had to un-install dcs world and re-install 1.2.1 and then install the a-10 module. Deactivating the a-10 module and repairing dcs world then re activating the a-10 module and updating it didn't work. Interestingly though when i re installed dcs world, on the programs list in control panel it said it was 8.8gb in size. When i then installed the a-10 module it it said dcs world was 375mb?! I was sure it wouldn't work however when i went back in to dcs world everything was tickety boo.
