hi , suggest two combine 2 virpil mounts (one inverted)for the GF pro, because of the extension, did that since i use them
-
the monitor is just for srs or discord and game start, i fly in VR, after a short time i now find fhe mfds blind, for the keyboard i look through the gap near the nose
yes, moveable was necessary because i have to be flexible in my job, changing locations
-
its ok, the collective is not mounted yet, so i need the space for it, thats the reason.
the elbow is resting at the flight case, its still comfortable
indeed not very realistic, there are some compromises necessary, of course

after years of improvised simming, and due to VR, i decided to built my very first rig.
it has to be transportable, and as small as possible but still giving me the feeling of sitting in a cockpit.
the result feels good and does deliver those narrow cockpit feeling, AND its easy to transport it to another place,
so have a look
inside measurements: 140x65x50cm

he is not looking for a real life map!
he is doing a real DCS map for accurate mission planning,
so tpc or other real life maps wont help
keep up the good work , lots of us are awaiting your awesome map FLAPPIE

good job, ED should implement it that way, so we can pass integrity checks,
hopefully this threads gets some attention by them

i am playing DCS since Flanker 1.0 (ok that wasn t dcs, just to say i am in fighter collection sims since then)
DCS was growing and got a real push forward with the VR revolution i think,
now, with a lot of new players of the younger generation coming into dcs world, multiplayer is growing to a level that makes DCS close to a real battlefield simulation like ED promises with their THEBATTLESIM homepage.
Especially Drex's DYNAMIC DCS Server is now exactly what all those daily sim pilots are looking for, flying sim A/C's against human players, learning to bother with real people not dumb AI.
Unfortunately, ground troops do cause massive lag, in single and multiplayer for unknown reason, which , i think, stops DCS servers from becoming real battlefields.
just a few units moving do kill the experience
So, my question, is there a way to avoid these lag, thats always showing up when looking into their direction in game, and or is ED already aware of these issue?

i brought this up a few months ago too,
way to candy and saturated to look realistic, i would like to have a "saturation slider available" or more natural colours.
especially in VR (rift) its not possible to do this on the device side

had the targets been within a cloud layer, had similar issues with su25s at max bad weather flying in clouds and heavy rain
-
DDCS the only server i have used CA since i bought it

Harrier II +
big surprise would be a chinook
-
of course, it would be read!
-
stores page is horrible in VR, map needs dimm, others are easy to read
CV1, PD 1.4

they should really fix it, can t be that much work to do

Hey ED, please, PLEASE don't make it in a way the aircraft will share the same slots.
Sure slots are a limited commodity in MP servers, but this would WRECK the MP server owner's ability to restrict the usage of FC-level aircraft in order to achieve game balance.
If someone can join a slot for say a F/A-18C whether they have the full fidelity module or the FC version, we're gonna run even deeper into the same balancing issues we have now with F-15s and the lack of redfor clicky modules.
So, don't do that. Do keep the different versions in different slots.
I for myself could even buy FC4 like I did buy FC3, if they were different aircraft. But if I buy FC4, why would I buy the full fidelity versions later, unless I really, really want the FF aircraft?
And as all I play DCS in is multiplayer... If multiplayer is less fun because it gets less attention from ED, and is made even worse because of balancing issues, I'm not gonna play DCS or buy any more modules, FC3 level or not.
Off topic, but SC's business model of selling ships based off hype, not keeping their promises regarding "never selling these same ships again" etc etc. isn't any different of where ED is going now, apparently ("no more FC3 level aircraft").
without gaining that much money! and not even close but closing in regards to promisses

#1 This is slightly off course but how about using resources to build out the support of multiplayer(I'll even PAY for a properly supported and built dedicated server client that sync's data to clients properly!), how do you grow a game this day in age without extensive multiplayer support?
#2 if there is a high fidelity module and an fc3 version of it, im not going to put the fc3 version of it on the DDCS network(they cause enough balance issue as is).
If you want to grow the player base drop this single player, 1-2 time play through campaign, way of thinking, this is not the future. (try DDCS, seriously, I have what you guys need, some more API support and BOOM, a online game that can do what falcon BMS does!, People will FLOCK to it in massive numbers!)

multiplayer is the way to go/gain money/business/customers.
ED, have u ever recognized star citizen, never?

most fun to fly and fight in, keep up the good work

IMO i like BS as it is at the moment, despite the axis airfield is not the best one for vfr missions,
and i think we really need a mission like it was normandy_anticipation1944 on caucasus,
1. caucasus is free
2. short flying time for players with limited time
3. easy to find airfields and targets
we should give every new player interested in ww2 the opportunity to hop on for 45mins , find a target, shoot something/one get shot down and make him feel the experience that ww2 dogfights give us
gaining new players should be priority no1, IMO
so best would be a 2nd BS server with this old close fields mission, in addition to BS on Normandy

water injection is commonly used in racing sports and car tuning too,
for performance boost

SPUD was intentionally by oculus, to speed the response time of the single pixels up, otherwise black pixels would go to sleep(sounds strange, of course in milliseconds), this ms delay got people motion sick, so they changed it to this.
disabling SPUD as mentioned in this thread fixes they grey looking pixels, this is definately an intended issue on the oculus side, because its very technically and needs more knowledge of their system i would assume their employes on the support side dont even know about that.
PD does not change anything, for a better explanation google "how to disable spud oculus" which guides u to the original FIX, this threads (several) regarding dcs night lighting came up with 2.5s dark night, but spud was already enabled before, just not recognized by the people
-
k and h are equipped with tv-seekers not ir! thats why they need no cool down, lock should be contrast related, the more contrast the better/earlier, they are not night usable
-
not happening for me in 2.5 caucasus. to confirm u need 2 nm only for moving ones or doesn t it matter?
could you please tell more details, which mav ir/tv?, and the map.
just because nevada temperatures are relevant too

this came with an oculus release, you may google HOW TO DISABLE SPUD OCULUS
