  1. Greetings to developers! I like the L-39 very much, the only thing which distracts me is that strange cockpit and FF shake when I extend the flaps. I see no reason why airplane should shake with flaps extended and speeds between 250 and 220 kph. In fact, with flaps extended, the actual AOA should be lower than when in clean configuration. Vita
  2. Good to know you sorted it out! Thank you! Vita
  3. Here is another track from today. Please watch for AoA on the final approach, power required and rate of descent on first series of approaches and then after reload. After reload, the power required was significantly higher. Also the lift-off after reload was made on higher speed (nearly 400). Also notice power and AoA required for flying straight an level at 600 km/h and then when turning to the base leg and final. After reload I had to use more power and higher AoA. MiG_AOA_II.zip
  4. I experienced it in MP forst time, but was able to reproduce it in SP too. Track which can be found in my original post comes from SP. Vita
  5. The difference is quite big I think. Please note the vertical speed and the power setting - on the first picture it is about 7 m/s and on second almost 10. The power setting on the second picture is higher and the AoA as well. My opinion is that after reload, the aircraft acts as if it was overloaded. Vita
  6. SPS works for me.
  7. I know about this from the other thread, thank you. Feel free to check the track later. As you can see, I finaly managed to land even after reload, but I had to fire the cannon and my fuel tank was near to 500l. ( and even with those precautions, the landing was far fromthe nice one). When fresh mission is started, it is not a problem to land heavier aircraft.
  8. Greetings to developers! While flying with fresh aircraft at the beginning of the mission, there is no problem to takeoff and land. With full flaps down, speed of 400 km/h and power 85%, the indicated angle of attack is about 3 deg. (Approach in track at 0:15) When I land and reload the aircraft, landing is almost impossible. At the same speed and configuration, angle of attack is much higher and there is not room for flare. (approach in track at 0:45) Would you mind to check my track to see the difference? Thank you! 9. Greetings to developers! I found that on 1.2.10.30996.495-346, the open/close canopy does not work on TF-51D. It works fine on P-51D. Vita
  10. Thank you!
  11. Thank you Yo-Yo, Are there any recommended engine regimes for cruise? Like longest range, least fuel consumption? Published DCS manual just states that regimes are all driven by RPM and we should use 3000 for climb. Vita
  12. I have the same problem. Have no idea what to do. Vita
  13. Also, older track with Mi-8 which played just fine cannot be re-played and behave the same way as new ones.
  14. Greetings to developers! Anytime I try to replay my Mi-8MTV tracks, it ands by horrible crash just shortly after takeoff. helicopter leans backwards and right an crashes immediately ... Vita
  15. Hi all! Thank you for your inputs to this discussion. The problem was that I completely misunderstood how to use autopilot and force trim during flight. Today my instructor visited my place. He has thousands of hours on Mi-8/17. He was really excited about this model and explained to me that the way I control it is completely wrong. I originally thought that force trim is here just to release force from my cyclick. So I tried to fly it as I am used to in light helos like Schweizer and only when there was excessive force in the cyclic, used the force trim. He said this machine has to be flown different way and I should use force trim BEFORE I do any cyclic movement, keep it pressed while establishing new pitch and roll, then release it and let the autopilot do it's job and do not try to fight with stick forces - only apply slight pressure when absolutely necessary. When I need to use bigger movement, I should use force trim again. It works really well and Mi-8 is now my favorite machine to fly :-) We also tried autorotation - myself in controls and under my instructor supervision and he stated it was like in real life. Overall, he was really impressed. Vita
  16. it seems there were much bigger problem than this in the 1.2.6. Let's hope for fix in next patch...
  17. Charly_owl, Almost everything has been already said, but also keep in mind that power change influences your direction of flight. So throttle back slowly and be prepared to use your feet to keep direction of flight. Vita
  18. I tried to do roughly the same inputs. With AP off the pitch and roll changes seems to me much slower and with greater delay, while with AP on, they are almost immediate. I usually do not wiggle joystick this way, it was done mainly for test purposes...
  19. Here is the track - please see that when AP is on (green light shines), helicopter is more agile and harder to control... Vita Agileness demonstration.trk
  20. Yes. I will do it in the evening my time (UTC+1). Vita
  21. Greetings to developers! Thank you for this helicopter, it looks and flies really well! I have however noticed interesting thing: When the "autopilot" pitch/roll axis is turned on (green light is shining), the helicopter is much more agile (reacts on much smaller and shorter pitch/roll inputs) than when this AP is turned off. When it is off, helicopter seems to be much more stable. As "autopilot" in this helicopter is designed primarily for it's stabilization, I think it should be exactly opposite. I discussed this with my flight instructor, who spend thousands hours on Mi-8 and Mi-17 and he confirmed this - AP on - stable / AP off - unstable. Vita
  22. I haven't noticed any delay in 1.2.6, I am just missing the stick shaker.
  23. Good morning, After I installed patch 1.2.6, I have found stick shaker does not work on my MS Sidewinder FF II anymore. It used to work fine in 1.2.5 and I consider it to be very important for Mustang flying - when visual cues (cockpit shaking) comes to play, it is usually too late. Stick shaker warned way ahead of it, the same way as it does in any polite real world aircraft. Missing it so much! Flying the Mustang without it is a pain and it prevents me to get most out of it. DCS, please fix this! Thank you Vita
  24. I can also confirm there is no stick shaker on Mustang anymore in 1.2.6 Vita
  25. Thank you Peter! It works well and I really enjoy flying the Huey now. Vita
