those who clap their hand over their heads saying "oooh nooo i want more quality (what ironic expression in this environment anyways btw)" ...have you actually tried his mod? the sound quality difference is almost insignificant, but the proccessing improvement is.... PS: @kuky: compression is always combined with loss of quality etc etc ...then you dont know how compression works ..sorry ...

you gotta looove punishing yourself to greedy on the stick above 15000feet, or if you screw up your angle of attack....or if you just "blub" gravity olee drop below the other guy....or if you struggle in scissors vs gravity and the bandit in AF :D ...and guns...well you can hit so many things and the bad boy is sometimes still able to fight back....till you really hit him well or something very crucial in right ways... krr krrr...idle detend...args....uff.....spool the engines back in..aaaahhhhh

@Yoda: you wanna argue, that i havent told you in first instance that THRUST is to much..you aksed me: "explain?"...i said..i cant ..i dont know what exactly is wrong (im not the coder) ..but i told you straight forward that thrust is to much in certain regimes. I couldnt express myself in ways which you understand....you undestand numbers..i take the jet ..and tell you straight forward whats messed up.... i fly ...you build! your straight answer was: " probably you are not used to that kind of thrust, no sim has it so right" .. it still rings in my ears, cuz that was the moment i kept silent with a smile. What we tested was the Gs under specific mach speed...i read the values ..you flew them in same time.....this is totally differnt !!! fusion was in coms with us !!!! you wanna ask him? then before that, we told you the we tested the flaps...and first thing you did was..."oh i have to post that in beta-forums" after testing it for yourself. @GG: you cant stop it, can you? @both: yes, you are right, im NOT a tester...you are.... do i have to say more?

since 1 year you keep quoting real data documents and i dont know what else...revealing alot of "how 2.0 will be once out in HL". As soon as it came out it took us one round of dogfight to figure that the flaps are totally messed up, then i told yoda, that the thrust and AoA/G limters are definitly screwed or to much in certain regimes getting the answer " you are not used to real data new engines". i kept silent...but as you know aswell..i was right..and the patch is going to fix it. Sorry GG, the last things i need, is one more GG copy post document, which i have myself. We saw where your "i read real manuals" brought us. So in respect, plz stop quoting each time in smart fashion my posts. Let the Devs speak for themself. And what is your role in all that btw? Beta tester or PR manager?

one thing im still in learning progress...or should i say remembering progress......"you can NOT argue in this community EVEN if you are right, all it takes is to shoot them down.....and silence is loud" but its also my fault, im not pm-ing to devs in a nice chat, im arguing with "some" people absolutly pointless and without any meaning for the sim. And if anyone likes to add his 2 cents even to that post...you can speak with your weapons in a 1v1. Good luck ...and enjoy "your" reality ...till you meet mine ;)

I like them to be honest, especially in the russian planes. The dispersion in the M-61 seems to accure to much at to close range. I would expect that kind of disperstion at 2500feet+ but ok.... The damage impact instead, is really omg or its the damagemodel on the jets..you decide..i cant tell. A full good deflection hit ok, but in 2.0 a "touch" disables the bandit completly, sometimes more then a aim-9 fusing.....im not sure, if that is really accurate. I have my doubts, but good thing we discuss it.

Noone here is talking about high aspect shots or situations. High aspect surely is part of every BFM school, may it be the defense, the shot or the "oh sh##, how i ended in that situation" question..hehe. But thats not the topic here. Personally i have no issues or complains....i deal with what i got (2.0) but i say, that the guys have a point in what they actually intend to express. Rewerse question: on what facts are the shell velocities, the rounds/second, and impact damage effects on a airframe and the diffusion after certain range based on. Maybe you can lighten the question from the other side? The guns are different then in 1.12 as everyone can see. In 1.12 they were sold as "realistic" now we have a new "realistic" as you can surely remember. Now please tell us, what facts made them NOW more more realistic=?

GG, just to make one thing clear here for once and forever. Are you are real pilot with combat expirience? NO! you are not! Am i ? no im not either ! So i assume your knowledge here is based on all your flightsimexpirience, and your video watchings. Now, how many sims have you been flying and how many videos have you been watching?? How many sims i fly - and that extensive, especially guns - is known, and i hardly doubt, that you have investigated on that topic as much as i did ( in vidoes and etc). In respect.

Thx for the lecture how ww2 guns work compared to modern ones. But allow me to say, that im VERY well aware of both.....and some hollywood-youtube based opinions on the matter wont change the point here neither. They guys who requested that, have a good point ! A very good one. The point is not the calculation of how much damage the shells would do after impact...but that is not easy at all to hit a jet that hard. Think about it. But nevertheless, gundefense (in all his variants) is better executeable in 2.0 then in 1.12....just my humble opinion.

agreed, even though its better then before (starwars zoom spraying) ...the shells are still really "OMG" ... Even though high-explosive shells and pretty nasty rounds, little less or more realistic damages would really make it more interesting...and exciting. "what if i miss" ..."what if i hit but not good enough" ..."when can i risk it or spend it" ...."the fight is only over if...." .....the questions you always should have in BFM .... i think, the suggestions made by the gents above have really a point ! :thumbup: compare with guns in IL-2 or F4AF (even though il2 is different calibers of guns) .....those, who fly both sims..may instantly understand what i was trying to say.
