How do you disassemble the button? I removed my pickle button from the stick (lately it is doing double clicks), but I was not able to open it up for cleaning or fixing. I tried pressing on the two tabs that go through those two rectangular holes with pliers, but did not seem to compress them down and I fear breaking it.

trying to remember, but I think I broke it to remove it... my replacement button was already listed in one of these threads on here... the wires are very bad horrible to work on tiny and brittle. But I got mine in there and it works.

Stupid thing...Was asking me what I wanted to open it with. I have Notepad++ and Visual Studio. Both of those can open that but didn't pop up.

So, if reading this right, that D:\DCS World\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt\GraphicsCore.dll was the cause of DCS shutting down and crashing.

it is pointing to graphics, which means not the file itself but what the file does... probably a setting it is not happy with... or an error in a mission file, or map.

  3. while flying some supply missing on a Syrian map missing, my Chinook the front end would bob up and down until slowing down while approaching my destination. it was like the front end was oscillating. I tried  to try to slow faster pulling up and reducing throttle but it was still bobbing. It finally stopped bobbing when I got very slow for the landing. I have the settings all on auto. I was not using BOB (no pun intended). Anyone else have a clue?? (this did not happen before this weeks patch). No sling load.

Well, I'd argue that as far as campaigns go, it'd be nice to have the pilot body actually look female in Speed and Angels, when playing as a female character. Subtle stuff like smaller hands and narrower shoulders, mostly, you can see that when looking around the cockpit. So campaign creators would be able to take advantage of it, too.

the ai pilot in the chinook looks just like that!

  5. while i have been in the chinooks on the ground I have never been in the air with that helo. I have flown in another twin rotor helo when I was very young. I have been in lots of Hueys  and through combat maneuvers in the Hueys from Nam and they flew great, they can handle extreme turns dives and much more,, it never did anything crazy... like jumping up. There has to be something wrong in the code or settings for this big problem changing from Bob to manual. IMHO.

I am having a similar problem when flying on "Bob" mode: When trying to ascend / descend from a given altitude the collective has no effect until about 50% travel, then it jumps suddenly to a steep ascent /descent. Calibration does not change this. I think it' a bug. Hopefully ED will correct it soon.

I just posted a question about the rapid jump when switching out of Bob when it shoots straight up!!!! in my own thread, didn't know if there was any threads about this crazy issue!

  7. In CH-47 the helo jumps straight up when I change from Bob to manual. I was using a hook to carry a fuel tank and when I was getting ready to unload, I switched Bob to manual and the thing jump up, broke the rope and lost the cargo... I have been seeing this abrupt behavior when doing the switch, but you cannot just leave it in Bob the whole time.. if there is already a thread on this a apologize..

  8. i have an issue with the Apache,, I turn it to armed and fly and when I go to fire hellfires nothing happens, and have to unarm and re-arm for to work... am i arming it too soon? should not it arm as long as it is up, running, and initialized from hot start? it like even though arm light is on, it is truly not armed and must shut it off then back on... (all backseat)
