  2. Hello All, New to A10C, I am looking for some explanation about all the "points" that are used in the A10C. The manual is quite extensive about how to set up those "points" but what I am looking for is how they are used in the context of a mission and why. I mean, what is set up when the pilot start the mission and why, what does he sets up on the flight and why, etc. In others words, how do you use all those points in a mission. Not how to, but why :) The best would be a detailed description of a "standart" mission scenario step by step with some explanations...do you know where I can find that? Thanks, best regards, Pierre
  3. Thank you for your answers all! It will help me a lot.I will some training and come back here if there are still some dark area that I need to understand :) Best regards, Pierre
  4. Hello, I have only a few flight hours in DCS A10 and while following the training courses, I also set up a misson with static targets (trucks and containers) to practice weapons delivery. However, I have sometimes problems with TGP when I want to set the SPI. My first question would be : How can I be sure that TMS up long did work and that my SPI is correctly designated? Some times I think it is locked (I am using Point track), but when I am close to the target, the TGP tracks behind the target... I think I understand the difference between area and point track mode, but what I don't understand is in what cases is area mode used? Am I right to think that for my containers and trucks point track mode is the best? About point track mode, what is the exact symbology I would have to wait for to set the SPI. Some times I only have crosses, sometimes there is a box in the crosses and sometimes the box is flashing. What is the meaning of this symbology? And does the little M stand for? Is it for "masked". If I am right, why is it masked when I can clearly see the target on the TGP? It is a lot of questions but I really want to understand. I do not find find clear answers in the manual. Thanks and best regards, Pierre

  7. Hello all, I am trying to set up a little mission just to practice targeting. I managed to add static target but now I would like to add flying targets and moving vehicles. I am wondering if its possible to have them flying "forever" like a round pattern over and over...I guess there will be an autonomie issue. How can I do that or something close to that? Another question : For now i would like to have non threatening targets only. For that, do you confirm i need to choose only vehicles without weapons or can I use vehicles with weapons and have them not to use it? Thanks, Best regards, Pierre
  8. Hello, I have a simple question : there are lots of missions for DCS A10C 1.1.0 to download but can I use them in DCS World or only missions made for DCS World can work? Do you have any missions to advice for a beginners? Best regards, Pierre
  9. Thanks for your answers! How can I be sure that TIR is running as administrator? I always launch it by right clicking "Run as administrator" but is that enough? And how should I link my profile to Black Shark instead of DCS? Updating the game library did nothing by the way but thank you to point me to that! I have not yet updated to 1.2.1 so maybe the update will solve my problem. rthat thing is weird because all seems fine in game setting. I wonder what can cause my yaw axis to be corrupted... Best regards, Pierre
  10. Hello, I am new to Dcs world A10 and to Trackir also. I am using TIR4 with the freshly downloaded last software. I loaded Wags profile in the software and head tracking is working accordingly. But when I launch DCS, TIR is recognized but not working accordingly to profile. It is oversensitive and on the yaw axis I can only move the view toward the left. If I look to the right, the view moves to the left. Only a slight movement and the view turns 360 degrees! When I go back to TIR software wit DCS still running, head movement as shown in the soft is fine and do not match what I am seeing in the game! Also title indicates Blackshark instead of A10??? Is something corrupted with my game? Could someone please help me with that? I will also post on Naturalpoint forum. Best regards, Pierre
