  1. I too am having this issue. GTX 1060, Intel 4790 at 4.0ghz. Can we get an update from the Devs? there is 21 pages of comments on this topic?
  2. Hi Sorry, I know this is an old post, but I used to play with the image above layout. Can anyone export their control layout as above for me to save me programming it in. The old one i had saved (that i found in these forums) doesn't seem to work with new version of DCS. Much Obliged
  3. Accidently got the 4790, wanted the 4790k. This is one of the best processors you can get if you dont want to overclock. $405 Brand new on Saturday, Selling today for $360. Melbourne Australia Location. (Runs DCS Very Well with most settings on high with a semi old 660ti)
  4. The training missions are broken, there is quite a bit of discussion on the forum if you search for it, i believe for example that the nav mission tells you to turn to waypoint 4 way before you reach waypoint 3, just keep flying to waypoint 3 and then turn and it will continue. Something about the speed of the aircraft being modified between versions and the training missions not being updated as the talking is time triggered but the advancement is location triggered (could be wrong but you get the point). Many people dont think this is a major issue, i personally think it should be a priority fix. People are still buying the game (like me and you) and such a fundemental flaw as the training missions being broken could really turn some people off given the importance of the training missions. Meanwhile, i can actually fly the thing, definitely worth turning a blind eye to small bugs and continuing with a-10c. Sorry cant give more detail but a search of the forum will explain better.
  5. Yep, waiting for a fix. I was in the Nav mission and the instructions just stopped half way through. Im a newb.
  6. Hi, I'm new to A-10c, and was wondering if there is any way to access the options menu from in game. The reason i ask is that often i need to remap a control when i notice it not being efficient in game, or change the audio settings, but having to exit, and then wait through the ridiculous loading time is a bit of a chore. Is there any way to do this? Is that hard to implement?
  7. Hi Guys, First time poster, 3 day "DCS:A-10c'er" (? lol)... Wow. I'm totally going to be addicted to these forums as much as the sim... Luckily i have an ipad with the 600+ page manual on it and a 40 min train ride too and from work to study. Just thought i would introduce myself here rather than start another thread as this seems to be where the newbies are hanging out at the moment. Currently running e8400 C2D at 3.8GHZ, 4GB 1066 Ram, ATI 4870. Surprisingly the game runs fine at relatively high settings. I have a Logitech Extreme 3d Pro Stick (groan) and a 22 Inch HD Monitor. Not ideal but still having fun, plan on spending a few hours getting my Tracker NoIr working tonight to free up my hat switch. I was a bit down hearted about the stick I have until I saw some great mappings including all the modifiers and print out diagrams, so am now reinvigorated and cant wait to get home and stare blankly at my screen when I realise its harder than I thought, and cant wait for the reward when i finally figure out what to do. Im in Melbourne Australia and am a complete newb. Cannot even get the plane off the ground confidently yet but have had a decent fly around and play with the cannon (yay!) Anyway thats all from me, just thought i would introduce as I will have many questions :) Nathan
