I was afraid there is a rule like this. Anyway thank you for your help. As you can see, I know the Russian language not very well. But I work on it.
:music_whistling: :joystick: http://forums.eagle.ru/group.php?groupid=96 :pilotfly:
  3. Imported Group Gallery - 314.
  4. Negativ, Ghostwriter!
ShAP Mozdok“ (unabhängiges Frontflugregiment 314. mit Su-25) 3.1 Mozdok Airbase General Information METAR is best used of URMO Beslan Airport: http://www.ourairports.com/airports/URMO/pilot-info.html http://www.rocketroute.com/airports/europe-eu/russianfederation-ru/metar-beslanairport-urmo.html RWY 3200m is sufficient to land an medium loaded Su-25 w/o chute. S-300 installation SW of airfield Ich freue mich auf Rückmeldungen und einen konstruktiven Austausch.
  7. Ever tried Longitual Aiming mode (I recall "2") in conjunction with missiles? There are training missions/videos for free on the eagle.ru webpage. There is also a lesson concerning "shooting down a helicopter".
  8. e.g. my usage for Shkval: Throttle Thumb Rotator: Zoom view or Target Box Size. Set up as an Axis. Check Options->Ka-50->Axis assign for possible usage. Keep in mind, that all three (slider, rotator1, rotator2) might be sloppy and need fine tuning using a deadzone.
  9. :smartass: Pretty early judging, young padavan, you do not, do you, ye-hes? :book: 1.) This plane is following the general russian approach: analogue and simple therefore: yes, it's a bitching rough bird. 2.) You really should focus on the long/er-ranged weapons then: Kh-58, Kh-29L, Kh-25MPU/ML, S-25L. Do set up your Шквал (Shkval Targeting System, http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A8%D0%BA%D0%B2%D0%B0%D0%BB_%28%D0%B0%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B0%D1%86%D0%B8%D0%BE%D0%BD%D0%BD%D1%8B%D0%B9_%D0%BF%D1%80%D0%B8%D1%86%D0%B5%D0%BB%D1%8C%D0%BD%D1%8B%D0%B9_%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%BC%D0%BF%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%BA%D1%81%29) including slew (e.g. throttle POV), target box size adjust (e.g. small rotator), magnification change (e.g. throttle POV pinkie left/right), launch override (e.g. throttle POV pinkie down), optics centering (e.g. throttle POV pinkie up) and Laser Ranger Причал (http://www.arms-expo.ru/049048050048124049051054057052.html). You will need to practice alot but quickly learn, that at faster speeds and higher altitudes you can override the launch range lock by far. This provides not only respectable standoff capabilites, but outscores the A-10 by far. Interested? Join me on STP Teamspeak (Spare Time Pilots) and give it a try. In addition you will find the Anti-Radar capabilities amazingly easy to handle. Use an ELIT-Pod and Kh-58 (and/or) Kh-25MPU combinations. Bind the ground attack mode and ELINT pod to your stick and welcome to the club. :pilotfly:
  10. Preflight planning You mean if connecting to a new server that offers no usable briefing, I need to disconnect and then go into the mission editor. I neither want to get you wrong nor the other way: Even assuming to have the mission editor open, I will not have all necessary informations to set up a flight plan. What are your steps of pre-flight planning a single/multi-player mission in Su-25T? Attached: my form. Flightplan V1.1.pdf
  11. Ack. Please keep in mind that in SU-25T ADF info shows only distance to selected waypoint and desired course (the bearing is not precisely shown, only course is shown in digits).
  12. KISS: How do I derive a Su-25T flight plan from information available in-cockpit only? I was wondering lately, if (due to a lack of briefing datas and flight plans available) it is possible to create a makeshift version out of in-cockpit-data present on the tarmac. short: Again I connected to a new server/mission, sitting duck in my SU-25. What will be my total of route km (FUEL en route + mission + t/o + lndg + reserve, what will be the turn at waypoint i (i=1..n)). Given are: i=1..n Waypoints WP(i), d(i) Distance to WP(i) FROM my CURRENT location, course(i) AT WP(i). I head for producing a complete flightplan. My approach is to find the cartesian R2-coordinates of each waypoint by seeking the intersection coordinates of [[the vector-adjunction plus direction (=course) times unknown distance from prior waypoint]] AND [[distance from current location on the ground]]. I found that solving that square-equation, there are two similar possible solutions w/o ruleing one out ad hoc. Well, this gets bit weird I know. So I will illustrate my thoughts. Seeking interested ppl who found easier solutions or seek a same approach and have ideas concerning my problem.
