Hi Tempest. Thanks for your reply. I figured out, how to start the Escorts from the Airfield when I activate the Tanker (3 Ship F-15) I send them to waypoint 3, where they should perform the Escort task (Tanker). But when they arrived at the waypoint the head straight home. The Tanker is just a few miles away from them. No idea why they wont start the Escort task. I'm a beginner with Mission Editing. Hi All, Maybe its been asked millions of times. But i can't find the Answer. Creating an Escort flight is an easy thing. But what if I want the Escort Flight to start-up form the Ramp, when I Trigger/Spawn the AWACS they should Escort. So the Scenario should be as followed. I strap in my F-16. From the communication Menu, I activate the AWACS (or any other type of Unit) I see that the AWACS is starting up and heading to the runway and performing his task. But when I activate the AWACS, I would really like to automatically activate the Escort Flight. So they also start up, taxi to runway and performing its Escort task. I'm familiar with the Triggers and Start option in the Perform Command section. But I can't get this to work. Any tips are welcome Thanks

Hi Guys, Just launced the F-14 for the first time. After setting the controls as good as possible. But i couldn't find the Mouse Look option button. When i need to familiarize myself in the cockpit, I leave my Oculus aside. Not having a TrackIR, the mouse look options works best. The other modules have this option to. Other strange thing is, in the Axis menu, i can set the mouse zoom to the wheel. But in game this does not work. Anyone runs in to this same issue ?

Hi guys, In know my question can be awnsered with trial and error, but maybe some off you have experience with this. Today i received my GTX 1080 (not the ti) And the card it replaces is an GTX 1060 6GB I watched the video from Jabbers a million times with my old card, to get the best out of it. But higher than PD of 1.0 is a no go. Specially on the ground, the image is uggly and frame rates terrible. So with most settings on medium and a PD of 1.0, DCS runs smoothly on my current system. Maybe you understand why i bought the GTX 1080 :-) I want a higher PD (mayby 1.5?) and some settings on high, i hope for a smooth experience. Any advise you can give me, how to set the settings to optimal for this line up ? Besides the videocard i have the following specs: -Intel i5 Gen 7 -16 GB HyperX Kingston RAM - 256GB SSD Samsung EVO 960 Thanks in advance

Hi Guys, Tryed searching the forums first, but couldn't find the solution. Besides, i can use some posts behind my name :-) Just recently starting with my new Rift flying DCS. After watching all the tutorials, youtube's and tips on the forum. Flying missions SP is pretty decent. But not that mindblowing. When trying multiplayer, the starting screen is lagging as hell. Almost un-do-able to select a plane and start the mission. When i managed to do so, it is allright. I have a very recent machine with above average specs ( i believe ) but the GPU seems to be needing an upgrade. Should that fix the starting screen issues on multiplayer ? Or does everybody has this issues ? Specs are: Intel i5-7600K non OC 16GB RAM Gigabyte GTX 1060 6G DCS is running on an SSD, so is Windows 10 Any tips are welcome ;-)

Hi Sgt Baker, Been a fan of this program for some years now. So im very glad you picked it up. But im struggling a bit within Multiplayer. Singleplayer works fine, for some strange reason. But when i join a multiplayer session, it seems the Server overview page, appears in both MFCD's. The cockpit isnt clickable anymore. Also when hitting ESC nothing happened. I saw 1 mention on your website's forum, but with no solution. Besides the fact i only have this issue with multiplayer. btw. I only use UltraMFCD with the A-10C module. If there is anything i can do to provide more information, let me know. Regards.

Thanks Diveplane. At first i had no idea what you ment, couldnt find any sounds on you YouTube channel :music_whistling: Didnt find any sound mods listed on your name in the User Files. Untill i found the search filter "uploaded by" Mucho gracias ( or something like that ) Going to test them asap.

Hey guys, I'm busy creating my first video. Collecting video footage isnt the problem, but i have a hard time finding some good quality aircraft sounds. As in flyby's, stationary sounds ( both in air and on the ground ) Capturing sounds from YouTube gave me some sounds, but most are bad quality. Specially sounds of Su-27, 33 and Migs are hard to find. Does someone happen to have good quality sounds in his collection that he is willing to share ? Hope someone can/will help me. Skate, I truelly understand your reasons keeping this a free project. But I think you might be surprised what will happen if you put in a donation option or even begin with kick starter ;) Your work looks awesome, and I am a big fan all ready. Think a lot of us will be watching and waiting ;)

Also notiched this bugg when reinstalling my computer. Started with a new pilot in the logbook. Campaign missions come back with mission succes ( or not :-) ) But still no A-G Kills Also, it looks like i got 2 death's in my logbook, witch im quit certain is didnt die. Or does it also count the stand alone missions ? ( i did updated DCS yesterday )

But why ? Is it the higher GPU speed ? Cause I read in different posts that dcs is using lots of GPU memory. Which the amd has more off.

Hey guys, I'm in need of a new graphic card, with a budget around 250 -300 euro's So the 660ti or the amd 7950 are doable. If you read the specs the amd is better. 3gb ram instead if two and a 384 bit (something) instead of 192. But in some benchmarks, the 660ti is faster. I know it depends on what games it is tested on. And frankly I doñt care about other games. 90% of my gaming time I play the A-10. So my question is, what's the best choice ? I searched the forum a bit, but the most graphic posts are about the gtx680 or higher. Not really in my league. Thanks in advance

From all responses Eagle gave, it appears to me he knows what he is talking about. I was also very impressed by the models posted recently. All tough the F-35 is not my favorite plane, and I hate that my country (Holland) has chosen this one to replace the F-16 I'm very curious to the end product. Also, as a big fan of DCS I will do anything possible to support ED and its third party developers. So... Eagle, my $80 pledge is on its way.
