greetings . i have a widescreen monitor . i play the game at 1680x1050 . i have read that the aspect ratio ratio needs to be different than what i have. do i need to change anything? the game seems to run o.k . any suggestions , would be great . thanks for reading . cheers .

i just finished a a10 mission . my first one . thanks to your help , i did manage to re-arm and refuel . i also found out that my wingmen were a great asset . i really thing you need alot of patience with this game . sure , at first , i used the custom settings , inmortality, unlimited weapons , unlimited fuel and such . that was just getting use to the game , so to speak . it was fun , blowing up , everything in sight , but not as much fun as completeing a mission ,and returning home , in one peice , knowing that the outcome could have been somewhat different . this is a fantastic game . hats off to all the modders also . and again , thanks for your help with my questions . cheers again .

ive got it . jettison weapons . i guess i was looking for re-arm . ctrl +w . thats the keys i need . again , thanks for the info . now , if i just could avoid catching on fire , i just may be able to make it to a nearby airport to rearm . ha ha . cheers again .

thanks for the reply . to bad about the fire extingushers . i usually gets a fire first , then hydrlic failure . i guess i will have to work through that . if i am reading you right , the ''R'' key , is for both refueling and re-arming ? again , thanks for the reply . its a great game , but lots to learn . cheers .

i am fairly new to this game . i have a couple of questions. is there a fire extingusher that i can use onboard the a10? if i runs out of weapons , can i rearm the a10 . how? i have a lock on key chart . but i cant seem to find any keys for the above mentioned . there is a fire extingusher button in my cockpit ?any help would be greatly apprecitated . thanks for reading . cheers .

good stuff on the mission editor . i have ALOT to learn . as of now ,, without me changeing anything ,the hatswitch ,on my joystick , scans the cockpit.. is that the normal function for it? also , i didnt see anywhere there where i could assign any WEAPONS buttons.like the trigger to fire weapon . not like on the jetfighter 4 i have here. do you have any suggestion on how MOST EVERYONE sets up their sticks? i know is probly personal prefence , but id like somewheres to start. any suggestions would be fine . cheers .

on the puncuation thing? force of habbit . ha ha . the files are in modman . also in lock on folder, ive installed em ,in the modman program . i can play em , from the modman program . just the VOICE part . but they are not showing , in the SHOW screen , when i launches flameing cilffs?

the zip files are just in the LOCK ON FOLDER ,, not in the TRACKS FOLDER . should i cut ,,or copy the zip files ,,to the TRACK FOLDER??maybe then they would come up on the SHOW SCREEN??????

i downloaded a file from that website you gave me .. its a zip file .. where do i extract it to???? i taught it might be a media file .. but its not .. theres tituorials there that i would really like to have . how does these work?? do i extract em to the lock on folder??please enlightemn me , if you could . thanks for the website . its great .

good stuff on the patches .. im thinking ill be purchaseing black shark .. i do like the helicopter sims . i have commanche and apachee .. theres another question i need to ask , ..if i needs to post another thread , you can let me know .. im in the training .. on some stuff , my instructor is talking ,, as well as the words in the top right hand corner of the screen .. but on the first training ,, theres no VERBAL stuff .. just the words .. i can only hear the jet running along .. is this the norm??? anyways , if you can awnser , thats fine , if not , i may need to post a new thread .. again thanks for the help . this is a great forum . i really dont know what id do without it . cheers ..

greetings .. ive just purchased LOCK ON GOLD .. theres 2 disks .. lock on modern air combat ,,,and lock on flameing cliffs..ive installed both .. no errors or trouble .. it seems to be working fine .. my question is ,,,, do i need to install any other PATCHES ,, to the game???being a new beee , im kinda unfimular with it .. any help or suggestions would be greatly apprecitated ..thanks for reading .. cheers ....
