  1. Hi McBlemmen, you have to pick up troops at the military base some kilometres nort-west of the base. You can find the coordinates on the grid in the briefing. You'll find there some trucks a bunker with an antenna and many troops to load. Than the menu asks you if you want to pick up sams or stingers or whatever type of armament and they come on the chopper. The problem is that done that all other messages (drop zones and so) are in russian. Lostcat.

  4. Hi guys, i'm training in NDB approaches and your indications have been very helpful. Now i've got some doubts about the use of AP during these approaches. I know i can set DTA and DH in manual mode on the HSI; then i can manually set the heading (yellow bug un the HSI) and the DTA (white lines in the HSI) to match respectively the heading showed by the RMI (pointing at the NDB) and the heading of the runway. Now i wonder if is possible to slew the AP to the indications of DTA and DH that i have set on the HSI. You know something like the AP of the cessna172 in flight simulator, where you can easily steer the plane by rotating the heading bug on the HSI. In this way i could just make an AP-approach by setting the AP in desired heading at first and then in desired track angle to face the runway from the right course. I tried to slew AP to the HSI but i had no luck, i tried "route without task" and "route mode" but if i haven't got a wp active on on the PVI route modes does not engage... the manual does not cover this way of using the AP... some ideas???
