Hello, Im very excited to use this mod, however I was wondering if anyone could give me the walk thru for dummies. I cannot figure out what to do... I have downloaded the ranger mod from the first forum page, so that may not be the most updated version. Thanks for any assistance. I have successfully installed the worn cockpit mod and the ground textures mod so far.

Man I really gave it an honest try to understand these instructions... and REALLY racked my brain trying to get it to work, placing the code into the appropriate file both before and after the first line of suggested code... replaced the file code with the given code and every other imaginable combo... could not for the life of me get it to work... but everyone else is like "thanks worked great" so i eventually got helios working cuz the link to the rewritten files... and you can just replace the lua's... thanks for those fluky! im still curious as to what i did wrong, so maybe i will compare the lua's from the code and the files from dcs with the completed codes...

YES GOT IT WORKING! thank you so much, i just didnt realize all the files needed to be dragged out of the specific folders, but i did and it worked just as the instructions txt said lol... but thank you for getting me to this understanding and this is exciting... where do we post pics of our setups?... mine is on a balcony with a 10 ft wide projector screen... unique setup...

i just extracted it into a newly created folder in the my documents/helios... it only put the single .hpf file in the new folder... could it be that i initially extracted it into winrar and they all dumped out into there and now im just moving the hpf file around? so confusing... files everywhere! LOL

jeeezus...... trying to take a screenshot but dont know how do get that to work either!

should have i put it in the users/mydocuments/helios/profile folder?

i dragged the "LOZ SM V2.1 .hpf" file from the list of things that i assume i extracted from the LOZ file in winrar... into my documents/helios... should i have extracted it into the my documents folder?

HELP Loz helios RED X's Im getting these as well, but have no idea what your talking about with extracting into separate folders and all that technical stuff... i always ask people to explain it to me like im your mother and your explaining it to me over the phone LOL... I have extracted the files, and it seems like there were 3 resulting folders so i put the .hpf one on the desktop and opened it with helios... but most of the instruments have been replaced with XXXXX Thank You very much, i am inching my way toward the ultimate flight sim experience!

HELP PLEASE multi monitor export indicators Help this makes no sense to me??? I have the cougar mfcd's working on my 2nd screen but cannot figure out what you mean when you say find the line... indicator_type = indicator_types.COMMON (which i had no problem finding), but then where do i paste it???? are you saying paste it underneath the code that you wrote out in the box below that??? Or are you saying paste the long code you wrote out underneath the indicator code line in notebook++ added to the code from the alr69v.indi file i copied to notebook++ in order to resave it with the additional code you wrote out??? or do i delete the old alr69v file and replace it with your code???? then save it to the a10 folder etc??? It is unclear to someone like me who has never done any programming (other than setting up the mfcd's) which is the most advanced thing ive ever done on a computer... It says "and just paste below this code" But paste what below what code where??????????? Very confused and eager to set this up... Thank you very much for any assistance from anyone B
