Hi, this just in. I was in the VA server this time and it happened again. I noticed a lot of choppy frames before it lost it. I suppose there were too many guys around the base... -

Well hey guys yesterday I open up the Singer Player (Gray Icon) and notice there was an update pending to be downloaded so I go ahead and run it. After completion of the update, I go to multiplayer (Green Icon) and return to the Open Conflict Server. I joined in a Ka-50 and did some CAS for about 2 hours and no hiccups, no block text, no errors. Either it was what the server admin (Mirknir) did to adjust his map or it could have been the update applied, I'm not sure but something got fixed at least to where the issue does not occur within the first 15 minutes of play. Regarding the minimal requirements, yeah that may explain why I get some screen freezes maybe. My Windows Index Score is . . . well here's a screen shot... New RAM just got delivered to me. (8GB For another Mother Board) I just need the power supply, case and hard drive and a new computer will be operational. Looking forward to meeting recommended system requirements. -

This is my latest mishap on the issue and was in the Open Conflict server... I'm going to put money on the submarines because ever since they've been added, IMO this has happened too me and I notice that they were present in that server on that map. -

The Open Conflict server is actually the other server I'm talking about those screen shots that I posted were taken from in there. But everyone else see if they come up with the same results. -

Hi everyone, I have also experienced this error in graphics. I experienced this not only in the Virtual Aerobatic server but in another server as well. Perhaps something related to objects maybe but it's not just the Virtual Aerobatic server... -

How to record Trks. on a Multiplayer server and edit them?
Razgriz_37 replied to Razgriz_37's topic in Multiplayer
Thanks Flankerator! Another question regarding the switch of extensions. Will this allow me to see other multiplayer aircraft in the server on the saved .trk? I've ran into that problem without switching the extension and I was wondering would that changing the extension will allow me to see other multiplayer aircraft flying in the server and not AI. -
Hello Eagle Dynamics Community, I wish to learn how to record and edit trks. on a multiplayer server. Record meaning using the in-game recording feature and how to activate it. (Not Fraps or bandit cam, etc...) And I would go about editing the track in game using the reply feature in the sim. I only have a brief understanding of how the recording of Trks. work in the sim, however I am not familiar with the sim featuring .avi files being recorded and saved and edited on the sim, and I would like to know how to do that. Thank you in advanced!

5) Stay with the nature of the sim. Digital Combat Simulator. FSX has the Civilian stuff. -
That's a good idea Shahdoh, never thought of that one because of the "only one instance allowed" message. Yeah the settings in MP seems viable when you do run SP, that you have the button available at the bottom of the screen while in flight. My screen shot on a multiplayer server did not display the button but displayed the screen as if you've already clicked it during a mission change, at the beginning of the mission. That's the only action taken when this occurs for me. As far as the installation goes, I have done the repair/update option prior with no mods before this phenomenon occurred and hence the screen shots shows in the [DOW] The first screen shot I took was actually a while back when we were patched to 1.2.8. I had mods then but tis not explainable when I don't have mods and the same occurs. Ha, well... that will be a bit tedious but will this lead to implementation of this feature? I think I can speak for everyone and say that this not a bug but rather a feature highly in need on a MP server and would be looked on as a small but positive feature to be used by a great majority of players here in the community. Please consider this a feature for MP use.

While on MP or in Single player? I didn't have a button prior to it displaying in multiplayer. It just showed up, when loading a new mission in the server. I thought it was the disconnect button because I couldn't press it in order to get back to the screen. It was a one time deal.
-
Shahdoh, you have the single player running as well as multiplayer running to edit controls?
-
Guys it just happened again this time in the [DOW] Server, but I have misinformed the previous post, I did not have a button, I confused it with the disconnected button, but here is another screen shot of me in the [DOW] now. I can't make this up, it can happen, if allowed to on a continuous basis.
-
So it is possible. It happened in the Virtual Aerobatics server. I was able to configure settings once the server loaded. The option was available at the bottom like you would have it in the main menu offline, but I was on a server. So why isn't this always going on all the time?

Hello there, I have an issue viewing full recorded tracks of a previous multiplayer sessions from servers I've joined. When I wish to see a track from a server I join, I start off by going to the main menu, clicking replay, selecting the track and verifying that It's from a multiplayer session due to the server information displaying on the side and then loading it. When loaded there may be some objects to view, perhaps AI vehicles, trucks and aircraft but not the multiplayers that were in that session or clients of the server, not even the aircraft that I'm flying shows. So why is this happening if it recorded the multiplayer session when I join? Is there something I'm not doing correctly to do load up all of what happened in the multiplayer session? Should there be a setting I need to adjust? Thanks E.D. Community.

Same here Catseye, I have Thrustmaster T.Flight Stick HOTAS, I programmed a button on the Flight Stick for NWS. While taxiing I engage NWS by holding the button down until I complete my turn, straighten up and then release the button the by having in a center/neutral position so I don't have to turn the nose wheel out to find the range, it's already back in the initial position.

=S= All! I'm suffering from an issue regarding the F-14A Specifically when it's armed with missiles. I've done a series to test this issue and it seems if I load up a F-14A with missiles from the rearming I crash. I have an AI loaded up with missiles no crash. Only when I or the client is in the aircraft. Even from originally choosing a F-15C and pressing the (ALT + J) command to hop in a AI aircraft. I performed that command on a F-14A AI aircraft carrying 2 AIM-9Ms and immediately crashed. I've narrowed it down to being armed in a F-14A as a client to cause the crashes. I can't understand why. Of course this did not happen in previous patches. Now before we go on and say "Well it's a modded aircraft" Yes I realize that it's not a stock aircraft. I simply edited the entry.lua file in the DCS World>Mods>aircraft>FlamingCliffs Directory so that I could fly the aircraft with the choice of a F-15C cockpit. I don't condone that there's a possible cause in the non-stock aircraft, it's just that this is new and it's weird that now its crashing when I specifically use that aircraft (F-14A) armed and not crashing when AI are flying and I'm present in another aircraft or when I'm in a F-14A and not armed. Has anyone had a similar issue? What can I do to avoid this in the future? Rebuttals: Did you perform DCS Repair with the Repair DCS World.exe?: Yes Did you reinstall DCS?: Yes Did you install mods?: I did not install mods, I instead edited the entry.lua file in the DCS World>Mods>aircraft>Flaming Cliffs directory. If that constitute as a "mod" then please note that there were no outside modifications. Only such was done with original files. Did you download from Steam or the DCS website?: DCS Website (I'm sure there's more I out there but that pretty much sums it up from my end.)
