Ok, This is what worked for my setup. The issue I had was that DCS would crash on loadup and the log file identified 'edcore.dll' as the reason. The issue was that my Antivirus software (Bitdefender) only created a rule for DCS UPDATE.exe and not the DCS MT exe file. Once I added the DCS MT exe file in my antivirus sofware as an exception through the firewall - no more issues. Hopefully this is helpful to someone ! Happy New Year to everyone ! dcs.log

Same as everyone else. Never had crash issues with DCS before. Anyone know about the EDCORE.DLL error I'm getting ? I disabled my antivirus software as well just in case it's the culprit. dcs.log-20250101-234804.zip

Well ... DCS appeared to run fine for one mission. Upon restart the same crash occurred again. Appears to be in the "EDCORE" dll ? dcs.log

I'm unable to check the OPENXR RUNTIME in PIMAX play ? I thought that was supposed to be checked as OPEN XR is automatically provided by Play ?

Problem Solved: I'll post what worked for me in case it's helpful to other folks Referencing my issue earlier in this thread, I think the issue was a 'corrupted' OpenXR command to my Crystal. Not sure but I think that's what may have occurred as I remember that the resolution in the DFR region was definitely not high resolution just prior to this issue starting - that was the first indication. 1. Yes I did. I checked that as well as reinstalled DCS - no VR in my HMD for some reason. Weird.

My Crystal has been working flawlessly but suddenly - it seems that it has stopped communicating with DCS despite the fact that on my desktop it is showing in VR. So when I start DCS, my Crystal shows only the Space wallpaper while my desktop monitor shows DCS in VR mode ? I crosschecked it with MSFS and it appears fine there but DCS is another story. Any clues ?

This is more of a DCS World suggestion, but it would be great to see different color buildings / styles than the same repeating geometric shapes while examining a target area through the TPOD. I wonder if DCS has any plans for making the topography more real world with different styles / colors of the city buildings ? It would also be easier in identifying targets. I like the idea of the Solar Panels on top of the building that was being targeted in one of the missions.
