There are still many switches are no function in the Mi-8 cockpit, i don't really expect every switches work like the real mi-8(too much work?), but i wish i can have a label to show what the switches refer to while i put a cursor on those no function switches in the cockpit . Because the feeling give me is that the simulator still not 100% simulated(beta right?).I don't know what will mi-8 be added in the future. Like the DCS:KA-50 and DCS:A10C, some of the switches I don't even know the name until now coz those switches didn;t have name and function . btw, mi-8 is great.

problem occurred when i am going to remind how to start huey up. The step held at requiring me to press and hold [Page Down]as the above picture shown , no matter how i tried to press page up or down, it cannot be twisted and the red control indicator show no movement(just some vibration while pressing [page up]) . I have already checked the control key in the option manual is normal without any problem. I have dcs:mi-8 ,page up& down key work well and no problem~ :helpsmilie: I don't know if it is a bug or my misunderstanding so i have decided to put the post here~

Thank you very much, i have just found the way to disable the FFB at the option menu as you said. Now the trimmer function work normally :thumbup:

I am using Logitech 3D pro(for flight) and Logitech wingman flight force(for rotor pitch..) . When i started the mission(Ka-50 attack insurgents), The heli goes crazy and pulling up itself. I had centered the joystick before started the game in control panel->device and printer. It seems the trimmer button is out of function, I can heard the sound(kick-ka) when I was pressing the trimmer botton.However it didn't trim, i can see the cockpit stick still cannot be held in position and just centered itself:joystick:, anyone know what can i do? Also i don't know where can i find out the config file called producer.cfg to disable the FFB..hope someone help

Sudden jumped into air is a problem in the promo video. That may confuse the buyers think of if the mi-8 air dynamic not that close enough to the real. I can say promo video can hide something from our eyes, but how about a more realistic dynamic feeling(The inertia effect, i don't know what to call it.)? I hope the beta may have some solution to deal with it.

I make that post because i am confusing whether DCS : Uh-1h is realistic/ready enough or not.Or just my skill suck. I am not come for assist or help. :noexpression:

stabilizer bar Hey there everyone,i have a big problem on hovering uh-1h. I have no any experience on riding a helicopter in my life. However, no matter i pay much more attention to stop the huey from pitching up and down. It never calm to stablized . So, i think there should be a stability augmentation mechanism (stabilizer bar on top of the huey) to help stablize the huey as page 1 #9 Sundowner said. I have a radio control helicopter which is very cheap with around $20 USD . it can fly stable enough to allow me to turn or hover. I found that the ability of this small thing can hover steadily because of the stabilizer bar works! once i had fold the bar by crashing the craft on windows ,tables or television many times. It flew really crazy. After i straightened the bar back to the original place. it become stable again ! Here are some reference video links i search from the youtube to show what is different between no bar and bar installed. Stabilizer bar really make me feel comfort to hover the radio chopper,most of the time i don't need to give any pitching input to control the controllers ! That is why and what i believe! I have found that the chinese website [edited] started selling the DCS: UH-1 with a reasonable price with only 178 RMB(chinese dollare), around 29.XX USD. I don't know how they can offer this lower price . The owner of the store will give you the code after you have paid your money(you can use VISA card) and capture the screenshot. Yes you can contact the store owner directly by clicking ;)阿里旺旺 (just clicking the symbol icon). But he speak chinese. here is the english version of that website translated by google chrome,have a look. he also has lots of DCS games selling in his store , and offering cheapest prices for purchasing. Like DCS: A10C only 80~100 RMB ( 9.9USD) I have a sad feeling that why do i have to wait for the discount from ED official.:doh: THE CODE IS REAL!!!!
