Their own money is not fake money, and it is perfectly legitimate business practice IMHO. You can invest in your own project as long as the project is delivered. Take people's money and then disappear is another story and that is dirt technique.

Nothing, just tired of people calling whatever not 100% accurate a game in contrast to the game they like which they call "simulation" which is just another kind of game and also not really 100% accurate.

You will be seeing me for sure. My all time favorite flight sim is DiD's Total Air War (F-22), so I have a weak spot with the 5th gen a/c. You will took $500 from my pocket if the goal is reached, and my wife will kill me after that lol.

Is this a kind of virtual pilot elitism? Simulation or game? REAL Flight Simulator is used to train real pilot to fly real plane. What most of us do is for entertainment and do as a hobby. That's game, simulation game to be exact, some are just more complex than the others.

If it is so wrong then don't buy it and don't play on server that use it. Problem solved.

You asked for the place to get info. I told you that there are some on their site. A bunch of video that including an F-35 simulator YouTube clip. The fact that you still ask for such simulator suggest that you didn't bother to check the site at all. And nobody claim that this gonna be 100% accurate. Matt Wagner said that it will be close but it is not expected to be perfectly accurate, even A-10C is not that accurate. Some stuffs are classified and Wags have modified that parts.

I hope they reach atleast their minimum goal. I really love to see this happen! 15 days is very challenging.

It's all games anyway, because you do it for entertaining reason, and you don't die when the virtual aircraft blows up.

10 years ago it would be considered one of the hardcore. Now people considered it's semi arcade? lol Many of the great sims in 90s would be arcade games now then.

Thanks, now I found it. The video is from VSI who actually produce HMD for F-35, so I guess that as good as it get for the time being. It is acceptable for me, but different people have different tolerant for realism. My favourite flight sim is F-22 TAW, so I am really eager with KI's project.

Can you point me to that video? I tried to check all clips on their site and found nothing yet.

I tried to use Autopilot to follow waypoints in F-15C. It seem that the autopilot only controlled roll. I have to control pitch manually or else the aircraft will head to eath to its demise. Is this a correct behavior?
