Hi Guys I have mapped the four trim buttons to my joystick hat however when I am in the simulator to trim is not working. Has anyone else had this issue and if so how did you resolve it? Thanks

Hi Guys I pre-purchased the Harrier module in October and would like to install it but when I open either 1.5 or 2.1 and go to the Module Manager it is not giving me the option to download and install the Harrier. I have not pre-purchased a module before and would like to know if I have to do anything else to download this module that is different to one that is bought directly from the E-Shop. Look forward to any suggestions or advice... Thanks

Thanks Raven for some reason the F1 view function is not available for mapping which is a shame but at least I can now get back in the drivers seat.

Hi Guys Have just had a quick spin around CA and mapped most of the various functions that all work as expected except one. The Driver/Gunner toggle (LCtrl+C) when selected transitions from driver to gunner but when I select the command again I don't go back to the driver position. I have only tried this in the M1A2 Abrams but would like to know if anyone else has overcome this issue? Thanks in advance..

Thanks guys but the deferred shadow setting on or off has no affect on the overall lack of colour in the map. Will trust that ED respond to the user feedback and address this as soon a possible.

I have just done a few flights at different times of day though the Nevada map since installing 2.1 over the weekend and have noticed a dramatic colour desaturation in the map that are very noticeable in early morning and late afternoon. A good example is the OGM Grand building on the strip that previously was a vivid emerald green but is now a very washed our blue green. I would like to know if this is now the way this map is going to look or is there options to change the colour to be more like the previous version?

Hi Custer I have not even been able to update to the latest version... when I start 2.05 the updater flashes momentarily and then the game launches and it goes straight to the splash screen. Please let me know if you get it resolved.

Hi epoch sorry for the delay getting back to you... Happy to report that NVG is now working in all variants thanks to your assistance. One oddity though for some reason in the L and Mistral the toggle NVG on/off will not bind to a button where as in the M it does, there is no issue binding the gain functions in all three though "V" strange but no big deal.. I'm off to fly in the "Green Stuff" :)

Hi Guys I am having a problem activating NVG in the Gazelle. I have bound the on/off and gain functions to buttons on my joystick and then started a night mission which should install NVG by default. However when I use the assigned keys NVG is not activated. I then tried the actual keyboard assignments RSHFT H and still no joy. I have checked forums manual and YT and can't find any suggestions as to how to resolve this issue. I suspect I must be missing something obvious and hope that someone can point me in the right direction on this one... Thanks in advance..

Hi Guys Am having a problem in the Open Beta starting the L39. Regardless if I try to start manually or auto start I get to the turbo start which engages but then shuts down before I get the ready light. I have no problem starting the same aircraft in 1.5 installation following the normal start up procedure. Would love to hear from anyone who may be able to suggest why this is happening. Hi Guys I have a strange problem with radio operation in the Spitfire. When on the ground the radio works normally with all standard pre take off calls working but as soon as I take off the ability use the radio is lost. When I try to bring up the various menus that worked fine on the ground nothing comes up. I still hear radio calls from wing men but am unable to access any radio options. I have not seen any other users having a similar issue but hope someone might be able to explain what is causing this frustrating problem. Note that no other modules are having any issues. Thanks

Hey Neil just to confirm VA was installed as Admin and works fine with other profiles that I have set up. It appears that there is some issue with this Viacom 2.0 which I will keep an eye on the forums to see if anyone cracks the code.. so for the time being it looks like there is a spoon :(

Thanks Mojo but makes no difference how long I PTT I get no recognition pips even though I can see the command is recognised it still comes up with invalid radio..

Invalid Radio using Viacom Hi Guys I have followed Hollywood's Viacom manual and set up as described but I am getting an "Invalid Radio" entry when I attempt comms. I can see that the comms are being recognised but I always get the Invalid Radio error. This happens in Easy Comms on or off on all PTT buttons. I have had a quick search and can't find anyone else with a similar issue any thoughts would be most appreciated. VA DC-10 Profile & Comms List Hi Guys I only started using VA with the A-10 recently and have been pretty happy with the results so far but as with anything it will take more time to fine tune the software but my initial results have been positive enough to warrant more time refining. I noted that Jateu was after a list of A-10 comms and I have included the one I did up to make it easier to do the programming of the VA profile. Thanks dcs_comms_A-10.pdf

Thanks guys the canopy latch was at the red marker and the valve was turned CCW to full open when I was having the problem. I have just tested it again and this time had no recurrence of the problem. Can't say what caused the initial problem but it seems to be working OK now..

I have been having issues with hypoxia in the L39. I turn the oxygen valve full on and have had the mixture at normal and 100% but it makes no difference. After about 20 minutes flying everything start going fuzzy and I begin to black out and progressively lose control. I have even tried popping the canopy but not even that blast of icy air saves me. Note that altitude also makes no difference as it can happen at 20,000 ft or 2000 feet. Can someone advise if this is the bug that is mentioned in the forum or am I not doing something correctly...:helpsmilie:

Actually I only have a GTX 260 after the 460 had some issues. It worked for the old DCS but by the sounds of it will not be able to run the new DCS software. Will need to look at a new graphics card. Thanks

Hi I have just downloaded and installed the latest update for DCS World 1.5 and when I launch I get the DCS slpash screen and then the game crashes with a "Windows is checking the problem" dialogue box and the the game then closes. Included below is the Windows event log and attached are the log files. Would greatly appreciate it if someone can advise what the problem might be.
