I don't know about everyone else but I turn my head and move my eyes a lot more than the pilot in LockOn can, plus in dogfight videos I've seen pilots shift their shoulders and turn their head far enough to look behind them. I was just on a server that had a mod like this installed and it was great, it was a canon only dogfight server and being able to look back helped A LOT. Where can I download this mod or adjust this setting? I tried to search for it but I don't think I am putting in the proper term for this. Also what mod can I get to fix how the seat behind me looks? On the Su-27 it was split and didn't look right. Thank you for any help as always :)

I know there wasn't in 1.02 but I recently got Flaming Cliffs (I broke down and bought a game with Starcraft...) and I have seen all kinds of screenshots of U.S carriers being landed on and catapulted off of. If so... are there any missions which regularly let you land and take off of U.S carriers? Thanks for any help :)

Ooooh, OK. I did read the manual, the Lock On ver. 1.0 manual, not the flaming cliffs one. Guess I should brush up :) Thank you!

In BVR mode, not all the time but 80% of the time, I see this: It just flickers a line of green dots, some fadded, some not. Any ideas on how to fix it or is it a known problems? Did this on other installs of lomac+flamming cliffs. It only happens in Flaming Cliffs, never happened in 1.01. Thanks for any help you can provide :)

I figured out that when LockOn stutters and freezes it happens only when I am at low speeds over terrain. Such as when I am landing. The game will stutter, pause, freeze etc. when I am at idle above the ground and will do so for as long as I maintain that low speed, as soon as I kick in the afterburner, the game plays normally. I have turned down some of the graphics and it made no difference. Any ideas? I had seen a post but cant find it where some people were disabling the sound from the ground objects in their config file, will that help and how do I do it? THANK YOU for any help. It's killing me having this stuttering problem with the game. It is unplayable and I REALLY want to play Lock On :( BTW my system is: XP Pro with all the background apps disabled in MSCONFIG AMD 64 1.8Ghz 3000+ 1GB of RAM nVidia 6600 Lock On: MAC 1.02

Everytime I play this game it plays fine for about 5 minutes and then it starts to stutter. It freezes and un-freezes over and over, sorta like my frame rate goes from 40fps to 1fps, just at random and it doesn't matter where I am at. Sometimes it will un-stutter, sometimes I give up after a few minutes and just quit the game or sometimes I end up in the ground because I am unable to steer the plane when it has a stutter episode. How do I fix this?!? I've un-installed, re-installed and I had the same issue on another windows install many years ago. I searched the forum and I am either not putting in the right search term or I am the only one having this problem. I am using LOMAC ver. 1.02 My system: Athlon 64 1.8Ghz/3000+ 1gb of RAM nVidia 6600 Windows XP with the latest updates and nothing else running in the background (disabled all those pesky background apps with MSCONFIG) and I defragged the HD after install of the game and patch.
