  1. My X65 (had it for years, really like it...) stopped working a short while back. I'm thinking probably a windows 10 update. It shows up in device manager, says it needs the driver reinstalled, but the reinstall fails saying there's a file missing and to contact the manufacturer. The latest drivers I can find are from Jan of 2014, I believe these are the latest available. It'd been working great. Looks like Saitek has been acquired by Logitech whose support system just seems to take me round and round in circles and is no help at all. I really love this stick and would hate to have to switch to another. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Lol, ok, I feel like an idiot, that did the trick, thanks.
  3. I'm having a problem starting the missions. I unzipped them, put them in the multiplayer mission folder, open multiplayer, do a new server, select the weapons training mission, pick an aircraft, go to briefing, then choose Fly. it takes me to the A10 in the hanger, but I can't get any further... Everything seems to look as it should except there's a "pause" symbol blinking in the upper right of the screen. I've hit every key I can think to hit, but haven't figured out how to un pause it... what am I missing?
  4. 109? I'm not seeing the 109 as an option in mission builder. I've only got the 190 for WWII aircraft under Germany. Am I missing something or was that a typo and he meant to say 190 again...?
  5. Thanks for the replies. ShuRugal, the water looks a bit cold, but it is probably best to just jump in. thanks for the list, that'll be a big help. I've used the X65 for IL-2, IL-2 CoD, the A-10C, and the P-51. I've always left the game setup as the default and used the SST for config. Ran into trouble right at the start getting it to do what I wanted in the sims setup, so went to the SST and never looked back.
  6. Hi, I've been using the X65f for a couple of years now on the A-10C (and more recently on the P-51) and have (what I consider) a real good profile for the A-10C, my hands never leave the HOTAS. Mode 1 for takeoffs/landings and mode 2 for flying/attacks. If anyone would like to check it out, I'd be more than happy to share. This is my first entry into helicopters and being clueless was hoping that someone had a profile for the Ka-50 to get me started. Thanks, Rabble
  7. Just finished setting up my new system and can finally get back into the Hog, and see what helicopters are like. Went to the Saitek website and get an error page after clicking on the Download button. Anyone know where I can pick up the drivers/software to run this fine stick?
  8. Exactly the same Situation I'm in the exact same boat, Trouble Ticket # 23672 submitted over a week ago (and still no reply). I'm a DCS fan, pretty much an addict, so I'll keep trying to work with them for a while, but this poor response from customer service is not a good sign for the future of DCS. Their customer base, because of the learning curve and the system and accessories (HOTAS, TrackIR, etc) needed for a sim like this, is relatively small. I've seen things in these forums with predictions of it going main stream when (if) it gets World and the other modules on Steam, but I have a hard time seeing that happening. If they alienate too much of that base through frustration with terrible customer service (like buying the product, but not being able to use it), I'm worried about the future of DCS for any of us.
  9. Trouble Ticket # 23672 Put in the trouble ticket on 7-14-13 and still haven't had a response. :helpsmilie: pretty much says it all... so I can :pilotfly: in multiplayer!!
  10. Yes, I downloaded the standalone DCS A-10C from the DCS website a couple of months ago (version 1.1.1.1 is what it is now) and it works fine using my Steam Key. I didn't know there was a problem till I downloaded DCS World so I could get additional modules (I want the KA-50 and the P-51 to start) and do multiplayer. When I first purchased DCS A-10 back in 2011, I did the same thing, downloaded it from the DCS website, not from Steam, but used the Steam Key, and it worked fine. Not sure if i ever attempted to get into multiplayer, don't think I got that far, but i might've popped in for a peek. I can also still log into Steam and see it there as one of the usable items in my library. When I go into DCS World and try to go into an A-10C, it comes up with the window for the serial # with it already filled in with the Steam Key #. It won't proceed with that one saying I have a hardware conflict. I've only had this system for about a year and a half, so it's not the one I installed on when I first purchased DCS A-10. So, yes, I'm in single player in DCS A-10. the problem is getting into DCS World and through that getting into multi-player. I went ahead and purchased another copy of DCS A-10 from the DCS website figuring that key would work with "World" to activate the A-10, but now it gives me the bad serial # error. I've tried to copy/paste the serial # I got in the email, typing it in (very slowly) with and without the dashes multiple times but so far no joy. Still a lot of practicing i can do in solo, so I'm not suffering withdrawal, but i would really like to get into some of the other aspects. sorry for the length, but i'm trying to anticipate questions.
  11. I've just been on YouTube looking at some multiplayer videos. Last night spent some time as a spectator in a few open multiplayer server missions. Someone has got to figure this out for me and get me in there... I've got plenty to keep me busy in the standalone version training additional aspects of this sim, but multiplayer looks like a real kick and a good way to learn even more... PLEASE!!!!!! HELP!!!!!
  12. Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes, I'm sure it's the Serial #.
  13. Windows Registry Under: HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software Eagle Dynamics DCS A-10C (Folder) (version 1.1.1.1) DCS World (Folder) (version 1.2.4.12179) Warthog (Folder) Keys (Folder) (LastNumber is the Steam Key) License0 (Folder) (Number is Steam Key) License1 (Folder) (Number is Steam Key) I don't want to lose the ability to use the 1.1.1.1 Steam stand alone version. Does this help?
  14. Error message. I tried typing it in and copy/paste both multiple times. the error message is: A-10C - error (this is in the upper frame of the error window) The system requires the correct Serial Number of the application to perform this operation. The Serial Number entered is wrong or mistyped. Enter a valid Serial Number and try again. I'm entering the serial # that came in the email after I bought it about an hour and a half ago. the window has a Back, Exit, and an Error report button. The error report comes to over 21MB. I didn't email it.
  15. Tried that multiple times, just to be sure...
