  1. Absolutely !
  2. The automatic avionics functions of the new su-27 model (ie: "A", "H", "route following", "Lalt+3", etc) all seem to be either in-op or exhibit really strange behavior. For instance, the altitude hold function "H" produces extreme oscillation about the selected altitude. And, when trying to revert to manual flight, the plane pitches way up and/or rolls uncontrollably to the left...this can sometimes be recovered with manual trimming but is usually unrecoverable. I've tried remapping key strokes, x-52 pro, etc. but still no joy. I note that my other advanced flight modeled aircraft (F-15, Su-25t) all seem to work normally when utilizing auto functions: "A", "H", etc. Anybody experiencing this or have comments on this ?
  3. completely agree !
  4. The quick start manual references the "complete flight manual" : "Additional documentation for DCS: F-86F Sabre, including the complete Flight Manual and a key commands guide can be found in the \Mods\aircrafts\F-86F\Doc folder of the game installation directory. " It doesn't appear to be there, only the quick start manual.........anyone know where it is?
  5. I meant to include this observation in my previous x-52 post question. My x-52 pro works fine as long as it's being used. However if left unattended/unused for more than a couple of hours, it will freeze up. The only fix I have found for this problem is to just unplug and re-plug it back into the usb port. From the lone response to my previous post question, this action may be the cause of my x-52 "forgetting" some of it's mapped keystrokes. Anyone have thoughts as to why my x-52 freezes up? Defective stick? Thanks in advance for any feedback :)
  6. I've have a Saitek x-52 Pro for several years now. Every now and then, ever since I've had it, it seems to lose (or forget) some mapped keystrokes every now and then, requiring remapping. It will work fine for a few days, or whatever, then it loses the information again. Anyone had a similar issue?
  7. I built a mission where a mi8 helicopter lands next to a building (using the advanced mission command) waits for a period of time (engine running) and then takes off again. Is there a way for the copter to shut down during the waiting period, then restart and then launch? Thanks
  8. I've been fighting that one a long time too !!
  9. awesome !!
  10. set up the orbit stop condition when a certain flag becomes true......then you can set up "radio adds" to make the flag true when you want....ie, when the SEAD task is complete
  11. what would be some typical uses for this action? :)

  13. If you launch an AI Su33 from the Kuz in the "take off from ramp" position, he launches with his wings folded and promptly ejects and crashes upon leaving the ski jump ramp......:(
  14. agree, smoke effect is excellent !
  15. damage carryover from one mission to the next within a campaign.....seems like the old "Lock on" versions did this.
  16. Yep, but didn't see anything like that
  17. nor can you destroy these structures either.....minarets maybe?
  18. whatever it is, it can't be blown up.
  19. What is this building near Sochi ?
  20. ekranoplan How bout' the Caspian Sea Monster !!
  21. how did you get that screen shot of my landing ! ha, ha
  22. The DCS Su-25t is a very realistic flying simulation experience. However, I question the simulation realism regarding undercarriage structural strength for this particular aircraft; it's is very unforgiving - compared to other flyables; one must execute a near perfect landing every time, otherwise the result will be a blown tire, broken gear structure, or worse. This seems especially inconsistent recognizing that Russian military aircraft are noted for rugged landing gear/tires to allow for unimproved field operation.
  23. It seems that following the last update, the road block static object cannot be angularly positioned to align with the road??
