  1. Question I am hoping someone can help me out with. I am running the FCS-Bit at startup and get the ok on the FCS page. I then press takeoff trim and do my flight surfaces checks.  I’m finding that my flight surfaces don’t always show full deflection on the FCS page. I guess most noticeably when I do full forward stick my stabilators will only deflect to 3 degrees nose up.  Shouldn’t they get to 20 degrees ND?  My other control surfaces get closer to the deflections in the check list but not perfect. Not sure what I’m doing wrong here

    Thanks in advance, Jason

  2. Been running into a hell of a problem both in single and MP. All started after I reset my export lua due to flashing comms menu. That problem resolved but now whenever I transmit on a radio it adds an additional radio transmit in the voice attack window. One for each time I make a call out. It also seems to want to keep initializing chatter even though I don’t use it.  Attached a screenshot in a separate post in this forum to better demonstrate (struggling to get pic in here)

  4. If anyone can help or point me in the direction of how to track down and trouble shoot these errors greatly appreciated.  The errors in my moose scripts seem fairly easy to track down as they tell you what line and script so these errors seem different and I’m at a loss of where to begin.

    any help greatly appreciated.

    thanks, Jason

  5. Hi guys...looking for a little help on F-18 afterburner settings. Even though I have the afterburner sound module and jet seat cranked all the way up to 100 in settings, the effect seems to rumble much less than at Mil power which I have set much lower. Is this working as intended or do I need to change something?

I would expect a bumpier ride with the burners on but that doesn’t seem to be how it is for me.

    thanks, Jason

  6. Another example...where I fly in VR I need to use Viacom to communicate with the tanker for precontact and such...otherwise I struggle.  I’d like to keep that aspect of things.  While allowing the human ATC to be the only comms at the airfield, awacs and the boat which I will be using this weekend.

I don’t want to completely get rid of Viacom ATC entirely because I sometimes fly and practice in single player and find the Viacom ATC invaluable in those situations.

Maybe if I just turn off realistic ATC in Viacom when I fly in MP?  Would that work?

or would the hold AI transmission setting be helpful?

  7. I guess just to clarify.  There will be a time this weekend where I will have human ATC. And while practicing for the mission I discovered everyone could hear the automated response. I know it’s more of a DCS issue than Viacom. Guess I was asking if there is a way to turn off the automated response for when I do fly with human ATC

  8. Guys, what’s the best way to setup Viacom Pro in a MP environment (with SRS) so that the other players on the same radio frequency don’t hear the automatic DCS radio replies responding to my calls?  For example I will have human ATC and pilots on a radio and if I make the marking moms call my voice got drowned out over the radio by the DCS carrier ATC response.

I see the difference between parallel and dynamic broadcasting but it seems to  me that with dynamic broadcasting you always broadcast to DCS first and then "switch" to your human partners...or am I wrong?

  9. Hi guys.  Been using the new super carrier version 6.1 but I longer see the messages and grades/air speeds/ altitudes and get comments as I fly the pattern. I also don’t get a score once down on the deck and stationary.  Though there is an LSO grade during the debrief.  Are there settings I need to change in the F10 map?  Thanks

  10. Anyone have a solution or have you seen the following problem?

I have a gunfighter pro base with the 9 inch extension and TM warthog stick.

I keep having the problem where the center in my y axis keeps slowly drifting off over the course of a flight. X axis seems fine.

Center stick, recalibrate and again it slowly drifts off and changes. Makes AA refueling nearly impossible at least for me and I’ve had to use a bigger dead space than I’d like.

ive tried playing with the dampers and just can’t seem to get it correct.

if I use the joystick tester program after centering and calibration it works properly and then after a few deflections of the stick the return to center has changed.

    any help would be appreciated.

cheers and happy new year, Jason
