  1. No problem, GOYA was nice enough to convert it ti PSD format and upload it to LOF, as I did not have Photoshop loaded up on my PC.
  2. Colt, Glad to see someone using my template. Not sure what is cauing your problem though with the small white patch. I see between some of the camo sections a thin lighter band of color. That may have been caused by the tolerance of the color replacer tool or some other setting you used while changing the colors. You can blend it out with the soften tool if you like. Great job on the skin!
  3. I believe GOYA was going to upload the PSD format of the templates to LockOnFiles.com. Check there, should be up in a day or two.
  4. Hey GOYA Yes, in PSP you can save to a photoshop format (psd). However, the vector layers (only the lettering, I left them vectors so they could be edited) are converted to rasters. So, I think you may loose the ability to edit any of the letters.....but hell you can just place your own easily. Do you know anyone that has PSP to do this for you. It seems most people use Photoshop...damn rich people!! I think PSP is much better....and so much more affordable. I have photoshop (don't use it...don't like it), and I think most poeple paid the same as I did for it. < the first prime number!
  5. I just checked LockOnFiles.com and the templates are up. They are not small, one ~16MB the other ~17MB. Remember when you open the right template, you will get an error if you do not have the attached font installed.
  6. Sorry, work got in the way of getting the files up early in the afternoon. But the good news is....they are now uploaded to LockOnFiles.com. There are two files, the Right (includes font) and the Left side. I had included 5 different camo color schemes, but I had to delete 4 of them to get the file size down to <20MB. But, I did also include a Red-Blue-Yellow skin in my camo design that you can duplicate the layer and use color replacer tool to create your own color schemes in about 2 min. max. Hopefully lockOnFiles will validate the files soon and get them up available for downloading. Enjoy....and let me see some cool ass skins!
  7. I'll try to get it uploaded by early this afternoon CST, and I'll post here when it's up. Not sure how long it will take to be available for download at LockOnFiles.
  8. Here are a couple of screens of the template. Forgot to blur the edges of the camo skin, but it's a one button process in PSP.
  9. You should be able to load PSP files into and use them with Photoshop. I just found PSP nicer to work with. And I have a purchased copy. Photoshop is too expensive!!
  10. I have a 2048x2048 A-10 template competed. I created it with Paint Sho Pro and it is extremly layered, so you can adjust any section as you wish. It has a camo paint scheme with differerent color combos (just used the color replacer tool to select a new 3-color scheme) I've been working on this template for about 2 years now off and on, actually have quite a few hours in it, complete with 3D rivets. I think it's good enough for release, much better than anything to date I've seen released for a template on the A-10. Hell, I'll release it, there are those that are better artists than I and can improve on it and make new skins using it. I'll try to upload it to LockOnFiles by this weekend, Remind me if I forget:huh:
  11. Oh, the overhands on the flight line, seen them on Google earth.....nope were not there, hot MotherF ***er with those Eagles out there. I think someone in AF assignments loves to send people from Alaska to Arizona. I started at Elmendorf AFB and was sent to Luke AFB, then got a remote assignment to Iceland with a follow on back to Alaska. I got out before going to Iceland after the gulf war when the AF was paying $$$ for enlisted to get out. A good friend of mine went between Elmendorf and Luke two times with Holloman thrown in there. I think they do that so you need to buy all new cloths, keep you winter gear, you'll be going back! I currently work in Medical Field service, CT and MRI. I used to work in Semiconductor Capital equipment. Both industries pay very good and both look for ex-military technical guys. It doesn't hurt to have an EET degree or something similar. Check out the semiconductor field, hell Intel is huge in Chandler and there are several Semiconductor vendors out in the phoenix area, most on the east side. As for the wife I'm lucky, she makes 2.5 times what I do....but I still buy all my own toys.
  12. How's the "Dry heat out there" I used to work the flight line at Luke on Eagles in the 550th and Triple Nickle squadrons, avionics. I was there before they built the golf course, left in 92.....Bastards! Of course I got out after almost 11 years and now make many times my old AF pay....that's how I can buy $700.00 sticks to fly Lock-on with.
  13. I have cougars with the Uber-2 mod and one with the real simulator FSSB R2 mod. Once I got the FSSB mod I put the cougar with the U2 back in the box and have not used it since. Forget getting Ian's mod go with the FSSB, it's high quality aircraft industry sensors and it makes the stick just like the real F-16. It is incredible to fly, so accurate with just a slight force on the stick. The mod will run about $400 and about $250 for the cougar....but nothing comes close to it with the FSSB. Here is the link for the FSSB: http://www.realsimulator.com/html/fssb.html Oh and the X52, if you want a plastic POS that cost only $100.00 then I guess that may be an option for poorman's HOTAS.
