I'd just like to view my A-10's as they're in combat against their targets but I don't want to take over the controls of the jet. Is there a way to do that?

Is this supposed to be in 2.0 or something after 2.0? I was going to purchase the Huey and have a friend do the same so that we can fly around in the same helicopter but I've been told that doesn't work in the current version of DCS.

"DCS: UH-1H Huey: $49.99 to $14.99 (70% off)" I'm trying to buy the Huey but it shows it listed at $24.99. Is it $15 or $25? EDIT: In the September Newsletter is says this: "DCS: UH-1H Huey: $49.99 to $24.99 (60% off)" $50 to $25 is 50%, not 60%. This is a little confusing. EDIT 2: On the front page is shows it at $19.99. huh?

Any word on when we're going to get official DK2 support? I was using the unofficial work-around but now the image will only display on my monitor even though I've been doing everything the same way I was doing it before when it worked on my DK2.

We really need Edge. With anything other than low graphics settings I get below 75 fps which creates high persistence (blurriness). I have a GTX 770 4GB and this current engine is just not taking advantage of it. Still a lot of fun though, even on low settings. I can spot other aircraft when dogfighting pretty easily.

Wow, that's it. Good find. I was able to recreate the 70% situation, now understood to be a "cold or "partial" compressor stall by flying at a slow airspeed, reducing the throttle to idle and then rapidly increasing it to full throttle where it then stops at 70%. I followed the three steps from the document you found and it worked beautifully! lol awesome

I'll give that a shot if I can stand to listen to that blaring thrust idle horn for that long.

I'm able to get 100% thrust now but after moving the throttle around a bit it went back to a max of 70%. I even moved it very slowly and it would still hit a max of 70%. I reloaded the mission again and it was back to normal and I haven't been able to reproduce the 'max 70%' problem. I noticed that at 70% thrust the fuel flow is 900 lbs and exhaust temp is 250. However, when it gets stuck at a max of 70%, the fuel flow is 2100 and the exhaust temp is 750. I also noticed that at a max power of 100% the exhaust temp is 750. I'm not sure what all of that means except that it seems like 750 deg C might be max exhaust temp and it's attaining that temp at a low power setting of 70% and that's why I can't increase the thrust any more. I just don't know why the eng is at 750 deg when the thrust setting is only at 70%.

No matter how I change the thrust setting (with keyboard or joystick) the thrust setting never goes higher than 70%. Any idea why?

Anyone know when we can expect low latency with the DK2 in DCS? When the new SDK comes out and DCS is patched with support for the new SDK? That's my guess. I'm getting very high latency right now (blurry when you move your head). EDIT: Nevermind. I just had to set graphics to low. Sucks considering I have a 770 GTX 4gb.

So, Wags says DCS works just fine with DK2 with the new update. Has anyone tried it?

Yes. This will be my first, first-day buy. I should have my DK2 within a day or so, so this will work out perfectly!
