I just found out that I'm not interested in playing DCS anymore, because I want my mudhen so badly!
Tryin' to get Janes's F-15 to work on W11 now just to calm myself down a bit while still waiting and hoping for a soon release...F-15E is my favourite aircraft since I was a little boy and I've been really sitting on needles for months now...
...I can't help myself...It's an F-15E Strike Eagle!!! The little 5yr old in me is jumping up and down like he's waiting for christmas!

My "I can't wait to explore the cockpit for myself" feelings are already gone because of seeing all the stuff on youtube without having a chance to enjoy it on my own.
It's been about half a year now since razbam announced a "we hope to release it in 2022"
The whole first quarter of 2023 was nothing but teasers that just slowly but surely killed my anticipation for the mudhen.I went from "cant wait for it" to "i hope my preorder-purchase wasn't wasted money"...
For now it's just like paying a prostitute for the whole number but getting a lapdance only.-

Same here on my end...
..even though my system is twice as powerful as yours...
...I'm constantly getting those annoying stutters/mini-freezes every 2-3 seconds...
...didn't have any problems and was running DCS buttersmooth until the latest update arrived. -
My guess: mid to late 2024...

Got my new system yesterday.
i9 11900K @5,3GHz
RTX 3080Ti OC
64GB RAM
2x 1TB (M.2)
1x 4TB (SSD)
...
Does anyone have recommendations about DCS-settings for good and stable FPS or should I try to max out everything?! 60FPS in 4K-pancake-mode is my target.VR-wise I know I will have to fiddle around a bit to get the best possible result, so no question about this at the moment.

I haven't seen any useful feedback from ED for a looong loooong time now... I believe the last feedback from ED about performance was from wags quite some time ago... he promised a 50% performance gain back then! I think he even called it a "50% performance BOOST"!
And we all know where this ended for many many users... right here in the (ignored by the devs) "game performance bugs" section of the ED forums.You can also call this a "dead end" as BIGNEWY did some pages earlier.

All you can do is buying the best hardware you can afford, tweaking it to get the best possible performance in DCS and hoping that it will be playable for at least half a year without major problems... which is more than unsure...

Same problem here.
Jester menu (when he asks for alignment) stays open during replays and won't close.
Might be a bug.
